Bruh, i never in my life had waited a little over 23 minutes solid 😑 just to return a modem. I had seen this guy talking to this one person from 4:15 when I arrived, and it was 4:38, and this dude was still talking about weather with a receipt in his hand, the whole time. While they had a line to texas yesterday. When this one lady was at another counter with nobody, she was there after being done handling someone around 4:28ish, and not call the next person in line. She's just walking around looking at everyone and talking to all these other employees who were busy assessing other customers, not even acknowledging anybody. Especially when they had a woman who had a prosthetic leg on. Who was waiting just as long as I was. Like come on now, we all have lives here, and we're not just trying to hang out here and watch yall not pay attention to anything else that goes on around here. I just got the email saying I owed $195.65. I feel like I got rip off legally. Plus they even try saying that I had sign up for WiFi bout 3month ago and I told the I just sign up last month cause I just recently moved in my new home. That just literally told me they don’t have nothing under control and they aren’t professional at their career. But it has been a few years since I got a modem update and was making the pilgrimage to return the old equipment. I honestly went in with a poor attitude. Spectrum rubbed me the wrong way when they first took over and honestly I was braced to set clear and solid boundaries about my cell phone carrier. I was kind of hoping to just leave the modem on a counter and slink away quietly. Now the last time I was in a place like this it was two cubicles and a counter where you returned equipment and they were not a cell phone carrier. So I was kind of surprised and then not that it was a cell phone store now.
Overall, I was pleasantly surprised. I didn't have to wait long. The person who helped me was quick and friendly and didn't try to sell me a free phone. I was done and out of there fast.
