I’ve gone to this location many times and every time I’ve been greeted and treated with lots of courtesy and it was a high-quality experience. This afternoon I went to get a coffee with a family member and when I arrived we were greeted initially, but the employee had to pick up the phone as I believe she was a shift manager. Three of the other employees stood around in a circle talking to each other and ignoring us while one was enjoying a large Frappuccino. Now I was an employee with Starbucks and they pride themselves on a great overall experience which definitely includes customer service pleasantries. After my family member ordered, while we were waiting, I was talking how I was taken back by the lack of effort for good customer service. When an order comes up, as is standard for Starbucks, they call out the name and drink, this did not happen. While the drink was being made, the three ladies did have the time to joke with their friend who stopped at the drive through window and even launch something at her into her car using a rubber band to sling it. What happened to the quality experience that you pay for when you spend almost $7 for a small, specialized espresso drink? It was not here today....
Read moreMy mother-in-law lives close to this location, so when we’re in Erie, we’re unfortunately closest to this Starbucks. I have worked from here and gone through the drive-thru more than a dozen times. While you (mostly) get friendly service, the quality control is absolutely abysmal. The guy behind the counter actually tried to convince my husband on Saturday that every other Starbucks makes a white mocha wrong and they make it correctly. Have you read the reviews???? This place couldn’t make a correct drink if they tried. Not surprised that the owner keeps responding with a canned response of “please share your feedback and we’ll re-make your order “. I don’t want you to re-make my order every single time. I want the coffee I pay for to taste like the Starbucks standard. Go to the Peach St. location instead; higher tech ordering screen so you know when your order is being worked on.
Also, when I have worked from here, all you hear is drama from behind the counter; who didn’t show up to work that day, who is late, etc. please save the drama for your private lunch break talks.
How is this location not...
Read moreAfter waiting in the lobby for 20 minutes for my drink. I asked the barista who was at the station that would have made my drink if I was in line and she got such an attitude with me that I cried and had to leave. Now I'm out the $5 plus dollars I paid for my drink plus the $3 that I tipped you. If I hadn't already been waiting for 20 minutes I would have never asked. I've worked at Starbucks. I know how difficult and stressful it can be, especially with customers. But I also know how chaotic it can get behind the bar and that drinks can easily just get misplaced. In the end my drink was in the to-go window and had been for over 10 minutes but I still got yelled at by a barista for asking. This is not okay. If Starbucks isn't staffing this location properly they need...
