I used to love this store until the experience I had yesterday. An employee tried to sell me an item at double the cost of the marked price. Instead of immediately calling attention to it, he tried to pretend like it was normal and hoped I wouldn’t notice and just pay for it on auto pilot. Well, I did notice, and when I asked him if he could honor the marked sales price, he expressed that “The owners would become very furious at me” if he did. If the person who owns the store makes their employees that scared of punishment for honoring an honest sale, to the point where they would rather try to pull a "fast one" than do the right thing… well I can't support that kind of business. I really wanted to support a local business and made a special trip here for some holiday shopping. However, when I arrived during their posted hours, the door was locked, and there was a sign saying they’d be back soon. I waited as long as I could, but by the time I needed to leave, no one had shown up. I live in Davis County, so making the extra effort to come out here and not being able to shop left me disappointed. Disappointed in the selection and pricing. A lot of knock off, non licensed merch that you find at most random strip mall anime shops. The selection was minimal too and the pricing was pretty steep for what it was. I'm all for fan art, but not ripped fan art and not lanyard that are have licensed and half fan art. It was giving AliExpress or Alibaba vibes. The employee was very polite and I don't mean to drag the place. I think with some upgrades and more merch, it could be great.
