I have been going to Nailed since 2023, and have been getting luminary or gel x about every 4 weeks for about the last year. I have enjoyed my experiences there, and the nail techs have all been very friendly and sweet. My spring and summer nails from last year were all beautiful and well done, and every pedicure I’ve had has also been great. However, about six months ago, I began to notice a significant decline in the quality of service. I consistently ask for almond-shaped nails, but for the last six months, the shape I’ve been receiving has been thick and round. I’ve asked the techs to fix the shape several times, but after a while, I feel like I have to accept it. Additionally, I’ve noticed a lack of attention to cuticles and overall manicure work, which leaves my nails looking messy. Lastly, the Gel-X nails have been extremely thick every time I’ve had them done. I’ve had Gel-X nails done at other salons and haven’t experienced this issue. Today, for the second time, a different tech at Nailed commented multiple times on how thick the Gel-X nails were when they were being removed. I don’t want to single out any specific techs or post pictures of their work, but I am willing to share feedback with management or the owner if they reach out. I kept going back to Nailed because I once loved the work they did and was hopeful that things would improve. Unfortunately, after today, I dont think I can go back again. I went in today to have my Gel-X nails removed. They were so thick that they were starting to interfere with everyday tasks, and it had been a few weeks since my last appointment. I was under the impression that the removal would cost $15, as indicated on the signs in the salon, and I expected the process to take about 20 minutes. However, they ended up soaking my hands in acetone for 40 minutes. The tech repeatedly mentioned how thick the nails were (which, again, were done at Nailed just three weeks ago), and this was why the removal process was taking longer than expected. After over 40 minutes, I went to pay and was shocked to be told the total was $30. I was informed that because I wasn’t getting Gel-X reapplied, the cost would be the same as a manicure. If I had received even a full buff, I would have understood the higher price. However, I left with damaged nails that no one would consider a "manicure" (see attached picture). I tried to voice my concerns, but I was told, “These are our prices,” even after the receptionist saw my nails. I do not understand how a salon can have a client walk out like this and have them pay for a full manicure. I’m extremely disappointed. I spent $30 and ended up with this outcome. I am always on time, never complain, and consistently tip 20%. I expected more from a salon I’ve been loyal to. Sadly, I don’t think I will be returning.

I was so excited to go to nailed! I arrived there about 10 minutes before my appointment started and they were able to get me in. I was pleased because the salon was clean and the people at the front desk were bubbly and kind. I had an appointment for Gel x and so she started prepping. When she got to my cuticles, it seemed she was in a hurry and she cut me a couple times. When she was gluing the nails on my fingers, a lot of residue was left on the back of the nail. It’s clumpy and it’s uncomfortable. When we were almost to the point where the painting and nail art began she told me she wouldn’t be able to do the design I originally showed her because she didn’t have enough time. When I heard her say that I was honestly shocked. I asked if someone else would help me so I could get the design I wanted. She said she would look. She came back and said that she would just finish it. She was rushed the entire time and they honestly look terrible. The quality is poor, and so was her customer service. She was rushing so she was able to get her next client in. I was not impressed with her service and the price I paid was also insane for the quality I received. My nails came out uneven, the design doesn’t look good, and I had to pay a pretty high amount for it. I do not recommend. I was not impressed with this nail salon. And I will definitely not be returning or referring anyone I know to this salon.

I went here for the first time on Saturday, 7/12, for a full set of Gel-X. Although my nail tech was very nice, when she started the application of the Gel-X it was clear she was struggling. The following day, Sunday, two of my nails popped right off like they hadn’t been applied correctly. I’ve been getting Gel-X for 3 years from my private nail tech and I’ve never had one nail pop off the next day when I was hardly using my hands, let alone two! I tried calling the salon yesterday to explain the situation and hopefully be compensated given this has never happened to me in the 3 years I’ve been getting Gel-X (and I usually get my nails much longer than what I got at Nailed so there is no reason they should be popping off the day after I got them done), I was on hold for over 5 minutes when the girl that answered the phone said it would be a “really quick hold”. I then texted the phone number listed on the website once again explaining my situation. I have received no response and it has been over 24 hours. I’m incredibly disappointed in the service I received while I was in the salon and the lack of service I’ve received since. Charging $70 for nails that don’t even stay on is absurd. I will not be coming back.

They were great at working me in and the receptionist was amazing. I was glad I could get in since my regular place was busy but I will keep going to my regular place. I think the people who work there are a little green. Maybe it's where people start their careers. I came back to edit my review because after 8 days my nails did not hold up for $75. I would expect a builder gel manicure to hold up way better. The nails were uneven because two of my nails needed to be built out but he was unable to do this. He used gel x instead. I have had gel x manicures before and I have never had them just pop off like Lee press on nails before after a week which is what happened. Also, he did not bother to make the extended nails match the other one so I just had three long nails and they were super thick because he also didn't do any of the work on them to make them match the other nails so it just looked crazy. He put on so many coats and wasn't paying attention. 5 out of 10 of my nails were bubbling because there were so many layers and he wasn't actually curing between total amateur hour. I felt self-conscious all week with these nails until I could get into my regular lady.

Needless to say, I went back to my other place (nail room) to have my nails done so that they didn't look like absolute trash and I got a builder manicure there and it was done in a totally different way. They look awesome! She took so much more time. Also, instead of just slapping fake nails on short nails she had the ability to actually build them out if I wanted. Whatever they are doing there for builder gel is just not what anyone else is doing. Don't waste your money. I don't think they have the experience or the know-how. Or maybe it was just the guy that I was with but that was a total waste of $75 plus tip. I can't recommend this place and good conscience. Again. The receptionist was really nice but that doesn't really matter when your nails look like trash...

The other day I walked in to Nailed! Salon for a badly needed manicure and pedicure, (I refuse to say Mani-Pedi) which I had never had done in combination before. I was immediately greeted by the receptionists (Meredyth and Katina) who were extremely warm and friendly. Being a man, in a predominantly female environment, I felt relaxed and at ease. Not that it is an intimidating place, it’s just not the kind of place I go very often. After a good start things got better from there. I was taken to a manicure station by Tristyn, who was also my technician. She was very nice, and a very good conversationalist. She also gave me a great manicure! During the service, Meredyth made another appearance and brought me a lemonade! Tristyn followed up the manicure with a great pedicure service! She was very skilled and efficient and keenly aware of my time. I was very happy with my experience and with the staff. Now, about the salon. It’s, hands down, the nicest, cleanest and most inviting salon I’ve been to. I admit that I haven’t been to many, but enough to know the difference. There was even a comfortable outdoor patio with real plants and flowers. The salon is in a good and accessible location with plenty of parking. The prices are reasonable and the technicians and staff were all friendly and smiling. I was very impressed! Compliments to the owner and management! The next time I need services I am sure I’ll be coming back. I highly...
