Bad experience regarding recent purchase! We ordered concrete on 4/16, the store receipt shows the delivery date will be on 4/17, so we have scheduled workers to come to my house to do the work on Monday (4/19). On 4/17, we waited for the whole day, but didn’t receive anything (not even a phone call regarding the delivery!) we went to store to check the status, but they told us that the delivery has been cancelled. I wondered why there is no one contact us! After a long wait, one of their managers came to helped us, and said he will arrange the store vehicle to deliver the concrete on Monday (4/19). The store will give me a call in the morning to let me know the delivery time. On 4/19, I waited until 11am, but didn’t hear anything from them, then I call the store for checking the status, but the first customer service person said you have to come to store to pick up by yourself! I was surprised! And told the person the conversation on Saturday “ your manager said he will arrange the vehicle to deliver!” The 1st customer service person said” ok, I will check with manager.” Then I waited for over 30 mins! Then 2nd customer service person answered the phone, he said he is “associate manager”, and also told me they don’t have the vehicle to deliver the concrete. I told him that “then why the manager on Saturday told me you can do that! “ if they told me they cannot do that, I can reschedule my workers! They were waiting for the concrete in my house! That’s not acceptable! The 2nd customer service person said he will talk to store manager to report it, and call me back. I waited for an hour, but still did not receive any responses, the I called store again! The 3rd customer service person answered the phone, I told her the conversation regarding the delivery, she said the store scheduled the delivery on 4/29! I was shocked! I didn’t receive any notifications before they scheduled! I asked for transferring me to the manager, I need to talk to them directly. The 3rd customer service person said “All the managers are in the meeting! They cannot answer your phone!” Which I cannot trust them any more! I was so mad! I told them transfer me to any of your manager, I need to talk to them directly! The 3rd customer service person said “I can transfer you, but cannot guarantee they can answer the phon!” I said “yes, I will wait!” After a long wait, a 4th customer service person answered my phone, she said she have already heard the whole “story”, she can arrange to deliver 10 bags of the concrete today (I ordered 60 bags!), and arrange another delivery on 4/22. If I couldn’t accept it, they cannot do anything else! I’m so tired of these conversation, they lost all my trust! Finally I cancelled the entire order! Thank you for these kind...

Went to this location to rent a pick-up truck. The truck's condition is terrible with engine lights on and a dirty trunk. The gas level was at a quarter(will come back to this in a second) before I picked it up. Before I pick up the truck, I ask what does a 1/4 full gas tank translate to gallons? The staff there says I don't care, you have to fill it up to that level. Upon returning the vehicle, refilling the gas tank to 1/4 full is a difficult task. We actually refilled the gas tank three times but the gas meter didn't change at all. We ended up with considerably more than 1/4 of the gas tank. Then, we realized the meter might be broken. Because refilling the gas took more time, We ended up late for a few minutes. We asked the tool department staff nicely whether they can waive the extra 15 min charges because we were late for a reason. The response was he doesn't have the permission to waive it.

Raised the issue to the store manager, whose name is Orion, and responded that he would be back to us in 5 mins. We didn’t mind waiting. We ended up waiting about an hour to speak to Orion. When he finally got there, Orion was extremely rude and inconsiderate of our time.

Basically, he responded with "no one asks you to fill more gas". We showed him the receipt. We indeed pumped way more gas and we simply asked nicely to waive the extra 15 min charges because we spent a little more time in the gas station. He replied that "if you are able to do the math right, you shouldn't be filling that much gas". I raise the truck's engine light and driving this vehicle is not safe. He says "this is the best we can offer, you got whatever you paid for". It was clear to me he was either incompetent or acting in bad faith. It’s disappointing someone like this serving as a store manager in one of my favorite businesses. Probably Home Depot management tier should consider...

Milpitas store - the Blinds dept - I gave one star however, it should be no stars. HOME DEPOT, a $357 billion corporation, has given me very poor customer service and very little respect over $643. I hope my treatment is not an example of bate and switch. Also as a 78 year old African-American woman, I hope elder abuse and racism have not reared its ugly head. I purchased 3 sets of blinds on sale for $328 in April. A week later I received an email summary of the purchase with a price of $895. I returned to the store and presented my sales receipt. The sales person who assisted me was unavailable, a manager in the dept said the order was submitted after the sale ended so I could not get the sale price even though I had a receipt for a sale price. I asked to speak to someone else - she said she was the person. She continued to disregard my receipt and said I could order similar blinds that were on sale. I told her OK and that I wanted exactly what I orderd previously. When she finished pulling the order together, the price was was $643. I signed, paid and left. HOWEVER, I did not get the specifics I had on the original order. The blinds in my original order had pull cords. The second order is cordless/I have to raise the heavy (40X70 in) blinds by hand. During the last four months & several phone calls, HOME DEPOT has refused to replace the blinds with a window covering that will not require me to raise it by hand/shoulder strength. They have repeatedly informed me that I will have to pay for new window coverings. Home Depot said that since I signed the second order, they are under no obligation to replace anything, it is my fault - even though the manager who placed the second order did not tell me that the second order included cordless blinds that I would have to raise by hand. I will never enter a Home Depot...

I am writing to express my sincere appreciation for the exceptional service provided by your employee, **Jeff**, at the Great Mall store in Milpitas on the afternoon of **May 12, 2025**. As an octogenarian, I visited the store to purchase bamboo poles and chicken manure. Jeff’s professionalism and kindness truly stood out: 1. **Personalized Assistance**: Despite my specific needs, Jeff patiently climbed a ladder to retrieve **9 bundles (54 pieces) of bamboo poles** from a high shelf, ensuring each met my requirements. 2. **Beyond Expectations**: He further assisted me in selecting **3 bags of chicken manure**, then voluntarily helped transport all items outside and load them into my friend’s vehicle. 3. **Selfless Dedication**: Notably, Jeff delayed his scheduled break to complete this task, demonstrating remarkable commitment to customer satisfaction. His warmth, responsibility, and attentiveness to elderly customers like myself exemplify Home Depot’s values. Such employees are invaluable assets to your brand reputation. Please recognize Jeff for his outstanding performance. I will gladly recommend your store to others because of his service. 🌟

I've been a Milpitas resident for almost 6yrs. I like the fact that I can find most of what I need on a single visit here but unfortunately I do have a hard time getting specialized guidance when I need to, specially on week nights or weekends, when the store is usually busier. Is staff expected to hear about our personal project needs and give recommendation, making sure we find what we need or is it a mix of some staff that are indeed expected to do it but others who are only working on re-shelving things? I ask because I had occasional luck with certain staff that I approached here over the years but most of the time I feel like I'm bugging their time, where they don't usually turn to listen to me or will to walk down the aisle a bit to guide me through where I need to go. Therefore the overall shopping experience can feel a bit frustrating, hence why I'm giving it 4 stars.

Unfair Return Experience at Milpitas Home Depot with service representative Isabella On February 7th, 2015, I visited the Milpitas Home Depot store at 11:51 AM to return a roof panel that was still unused, with the original label intact. Despite the panel showing no signs of damage and being in new condition, I was asked by the service representative, Isabella, to wrap it with a rain drop (which I found unnecessary). The panel was never used, and there was no damage—just some moisture that had accumulated. I couldn’t understand why a perfectly new item couldn’t be returned. After a frustrating interaction with Isabella, I was told I would need to follow her instructions for dry it the panel in order to proceed with the return. As a loyal customer of several years, holding a pro number, I was deeply disappointed by the treatment I received
