I heard a guy ask, "Do you guys have everything on the menu here?" A very reasonable question because they have 4 large digital screens with food items and hundreds of dishes on their paper menu. It turns out that they did.

The lady there was so helpful and proactively gave us a menu and showed us the specials for March. She even told us though it was marked 2024, it was a typo. It seemed she answered all our questions before we even asked.

We ended up getting a sweet and sour soup as well as a beef pancake. We were considering getting two soups and asked her about the portion size. She showed us one of those large plastic containers that could fit a bowl of pho. But also set expectations by saying, "Keep in mind the caldo will take up about this much gestures of the container. Well, since sweet and sour soup doesn't contain much besides the soup anyway, especially since the egg pieces are just wisps, we thought it was a most generous amount.

The green onion pancake for the beef pancake was deliciously oily and perfectly fried without being too burnt or dry.

Since both of the items were specials of the month, the total came out to be less than $20. They also threw in a small takeout 🥡 box of red bean sesame balls and two fortune cookies. Cute.

This is one of the best Chinese takeouts I’ve been in a food court. I’m surprised that this vendor has plenty of options such as appetizers, house specials, a la carte entrees, hot pots, soups, combos, etc. Normally, you have to go to a regular restaurant that has this many options.

The food is slightly more expensive than many overrated fast food places, but it’s fair enough because the food quality here is higher. It even tastes like other Chinese sit-down restaurants you normally go to especially the fried rice. I got a bowl (1 entree + 1 side), which is $10.99. Not bad though!

Honestly, I feel like that food courts in the mall should have more vendors that are like this one. I’m surprised that not many people go here, but I guess it’s because I came here during the weekday and of course, malls don’t get packed during the day.

Next time I come here, I’m getting a plate combo to try out...

Been a regular customer of this chain restaurant at other locations. Wanted to give this new open one a try but was extremely disappointed. I ordered take out for their signature lamb soup but got home with severe leak due to oversight on packaging (the plastic wrap was not fully secured). I required partial refund thinking it a reasonable ask but got refused by the merchant, accusing me of negligence in transportation. They claimed that they always pack their dishes flawlessly so it must be the customers who are careless.
