If I could give Atmosfere "6 stars" I would! So, I need a suit for a Shinto wedding in Hiroshima Japan in mid-May. On the recommendation of a relative, she strongly recommended that I try Atmosfere. I was initially reluctant; "Why do I need to travel all the way into downtown Minneapolis for a suit that I can purchase nearer to my home?", I thought to myself. Well ultimately, I was swayed by my relative's recommendation, so I reserved a one-hour "consultation" appointment on Atmosfere's slick, easy-to-navigate website. So off I drove to the "hip and trendy" North Loop area of Minneapolis. This area is chock full with historic buildings, full of young, energetic, hard-working, and... hip and trendy people! I was out of my element! Despite this, I found parking on the street a few blocks down from Atmosfere, and soaked in the "hip and trendy" buildings as I walked to the suit shop. I am so happy once I arrived! The physical store is located in the basement of one of the above-mentioned historical buildings, directly on Washington Ave, and in the "center of the universe" of the trendy North Loop area of Minneapolis. Access the shop via a short set of stairs downward directly from Washington Ave. I walked into the beautifully designed, and beautifully decorated suit shop, and was greeted by Jena, the owner. After discussing my suit needs for the wedding I will be attending in May, Jena went to work! She was a blur of movement, always seemingly evaluating in her mind my comments, thoughts, and needs, while simultaneously evaluating and displaying for me her stock of in-store suits, while keeping in mind my price points, and, of course, my body size! I was given a FULL HOUR of exclusive time with Jena and her wonderful staff on my consultation appointment, and I ultimately chose a suit to order at the conclusion of the meeting. I felt absolutely no pressure, and instead walked away from the consultation relaxed and excited for my new suit to arrive into her shop. Jena was/is a joy to work with for my suit needs, and as a result, I would strongly recommend Atmosfere for anyone's suit needs in the future. Price point was actually quite reasonable (I was truly surprised) despite the shop's location being in the "hip and groovy" North Loop, and the suit options were plentiful enough for me. Hey, I needed a BLACK SUIT, nothing fancy, right?!! haha. Seriously, Jena and her staff were wonderful, knowledgeable, helpful and FRIENDLY! Dings to the store: appointments via online scheduler is highly recommended, and I would highly recommend this so that they give you the one-on-one quality time they offered to me. Also, for us "non Minneapolis North Loop" (aka not "hip and groovy) people, parking can be somewhat of a challenge around the store - it's meter parking only throughout that area. There are pay lots around, I guess, but expensive. Plan extra time to find a spot to park. Atmosfere also does not rent suits, unlike places like the Men's Wearhouse, etc. Pluses: Outstanding helpful and experienced staff, good suit options, prices are reasonable. Tailoring is part of the price, and turn-around time is OK. Shop makes you feel "special", which was super nice! I thank Jena and her staff for making me feel comfortable and happy with my purchase. I can't wait to see my new suit in a couple of weeks from now!

We worked with Atmosfere for a grooms suit for our September 2024 wedding and the final tux we ended up with was phenomenal -- however like many other reviewers say, parts of the suit shopping experience could be improved upon. Even with an appointment, the shop is always busy and the stylists are torn in many directions helping multiple parties at once. They rarely answer the phone, and are poor to communicate alterations timelines unless you swing by in person to ask them directly. While shopping for the tux and asking questions about style and wedding looks we felt a fair amount of judgement from Jena. She made us feel that unless our personal vision aligned with hers or if we didn't take her suggestions, then we had bad taste. We only used Atmosfere for the grooms attire and our wedding party used another local suit shop (not mens warehouse) but when trying to compare colors and shirt styles, her body language and demeaner made us feel beneath Atmosfere and unwelcome. She also said a few snide comments about the other suit shop which was uncalled for and unprofessional. Like I said, we loved the tux and we've also purchased multiple suits and shirts from Atmosfere before, so this experiences isn't enough to stop us from returning but it is worth noting, especially since it is a common theme to the whole store/shopping experience and others have also mentioned it in their reviews.

This was by far the worst experience I’ve had at any place that sells and tailors suits. First off, this place is crazy busy at all times of the day and when you are there, you competing for time with the employees for measurements and fittings, it was chaotic. I ordered my suit for a wedding that I was in and I never got a call that my suit was arrived until a week before the wedding. I had to go in twice for it to get measured and each time it was way either too big or way too small. The day before the wedding I was able to get my suit and it was so tight I couldn’t sit down, and it ripped. I called and mentioned this to them and they stated that’s how I wanted it… No… no one wants a suit that they can’t sit in or let alone rip. I asked if I could come in ASAP to get suit fixed and they informed me that they do not do any tailoring on the spot (Even though they said they had someone on retainer, lie), everything is handled by someone who doesn’t work for them. Just awful, I then returned the suit and I had to scramble around to find a new suit the day before the wedding. I felt bad for the bride and groom who had a vision for their wedding and I believe atmosfere let them down and myself. I would never recommend this place to anyone. Save your money and avoid this place at all costs, disaster.

Truly AWFUL experience. I would absolutely never go back again. My fiancé and I came in looking to try on suits and match colors for our wedding. He has 8 guys on his side and there are 3 on my side, so we wanted two distinct styles (for each side) that fit with our color scheme/compliment each other. The man there went on and on about how they don’t have what we’re looking for and no one does. We told him we were open to different options i.e. khaki pants, suspenders and no suit coat, etc. We were even open to changing our colors completely but instead of working with us to create a plan, he just started flipping through books and talking about how some suits came together and some didn't, making everything sound very difficult. I suggested we just have my fiancé try some things on to see what he likes. Then the man seemed to not want to work with us at all, often walking away and attending to other customers while we awkwardly stood waiting (even though we had an appointment). There was a woman working there who wasn’t as outwardly rude but she wasn’t much help either. After an hour of being ignored and waiting around awkwardly, I said it was time to go. That’s when the woman figured out that we had never been in the store before. Apparently they had mistakenly wrote down that it was our second appointment? Either way, the customer service was literally the worst I’ve experienced in my entire life. They could be giving away $1,000 free suit and I wouldn’t step foot in that...

We cannot speak more highly of our experience at Atmosfere. My husband and I were in the market for a suit to renew our vows. We had just spent the previous day scouring high-end shops at Mall of America and almost purchased a $1000 Hugo Boss suit that was just OK. After dinner at BLG we noticed Atmosfere as we walked home and decided to wander in. There was a huge group of men being fitted for suits and 2 cops speaking to another employee because there had just been a theft. The store was also about to close in 30 minutes. DESPITE ALL OF THIS, the two "employees" who turned out to be the co-owners Jenna and Damon, treated us like Beyonce and Jay-Z had just entered the store. Jenna helped us browse while Damon finished fitting like 10 groomsmen; they put us in a fitting room with incredible options, they brought us tie suggestions as if they could read our minds. They taught us about suit fabrics and fit even while they wrapped up with the large group of men. By the end of our visit we had found a PERFECT suit and a matching tie and Damon was arranging to have the suit custom tailored to be ready for pickup in just a few days. The next time we popped in, they recognized us immediately and even remembered the FOOD WE HAD ORDERED AT BAR LA GRASSA. The suit ended up being almost half what we were going to pay at Hugo Boss and it's the best suit we've ever owned. Atmosfere has made us...
