Pretentious atmosphere, unprofessional service, good cappuccino. When I arrived around 2:30pm on Saturday 3/9/2024, no one was at the register. I walked over to chat to the barista about the drink she was making, and not once did she assist me with how to order. Then suddenly I saw a line at the register, so I got behind three people. Bummer. The employee at the register was a stalky, young man with a nose piercing. He gave the customer in front of me a free drink. That did not feel good. If youāre going to give free drinks, at least do it subtly. When I asked him what brand of espresso beans they use, he said it was a secret - that they could know, but I could not. What? That felt strange and disconnected. Transparency is almost always in the best interest of the customer - and - it is responsible to give credit where credit is due, like they do with the Cardigan Doughnuts they serve. The shop is very big and spacious. This is a shop that has a high volume business feel rather than your cozy neighborhood coffee shop. The low end service did not match the high end appearance. This for me feels pretentious. Also, my cappuccino was over $5. Maybe if they were willing to share more about the beans and such it would enhance the value and help me feel more comfortable with that price. It all just didnāt add up for me. One thing that did make me happy was that they use Autumnwood Farm local vat pasteurized cow milk. That def adds...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreMy god this place is the bougiest and most fantastic coffee shop Iāve ever been in. I donāt know who runs the interior decoration but I straight up want to live here. I mean they had a fire going and a screen on one wall depicting a forest there was so much space you walked in you felt like you were royalty. The coffee donāt even get me started that stuff itās delicious beyond delicious. Itās frothy smooth and just a perfect blend of bitter and sweet. I got two donuts and I promise you I saw Jesus smiling at me when I bit into them. The people walking in serenely with their wide-brimmed hats and Duluth trading Company vests made my credit score raise 60 pts in two seconds flat. If I were to describe this place in three words it would be Christian Girl Autumn With just a sprinkling of Kardashian nail-dust blessing the air. Everybody had a pale glow about them, and the place smelled as clean as sensitive-skin body wash. I definitely stuck out in my jeans and sneakers, Im going to buy a wide-brimmed hat and high-waisted loose slacks specifically so I can come in here and blend into the artistic nature of the place.
The only bad thing I need to say about this place is that I was really confused by the name. I mean Fragment without the vowels-that make sense⦠but I straight up for some reason thought it was short for fridge mount.
Otherwise Iām...

Parking in front is easy if you're willing to pay, but I'm sure there are cheaper parking options around if you want to walk a bit. This coffee shop is part of The Nordic, which houses a variety of food and drink options that can keep you happy the whole day if you plan on spending the day working from here. The interior of the space is very open and airy, with 20ft+ tall ceilings, a massive modern fireplace, and premium materials (woods, cements, fabrics). It seems to be built for workers and students in mind as it has ample seating arrangements and wall length power bars with dozens of outlets. Even at near full capacity, the space promotes the perfect amount of background noise without it ever getting too overwhelming.
Despite the bougie optics, the food and drinks were surprisingly affordable. I was able to snag a creative carrot cake latte AND a fresh croissant for only $10. Both were fantastic. I think this is my new go to for long...
