I've been a big city dweller for a LONG time. This spot along the river has been my solace, my comfort and my little piece of nature. That I can go to at any time, it's a short distance from my home. I've been going for many years here to feel closer to my source, Mother-Nature. It's comforting to be near the river, if one wants adventure walk, trek on some less used dirt trails, to get to the sandy shores. Read moreThis park is awesome! There are really cool walking paths with bridges down by the river, as well as a playground, large shady grassy area with picnic tables and charcoal barbecues. There are restrooms available but they're port-a-potties. The parking lot is a pay lot but it's decent in size. I feel like this is a really "well balanced" park with stuff to do for everyone.
