Elliot Soccer Field — Local services in Minneapolis

While this field is a super cool location for atmosphere surrounded by the skyscrapers and the busy Elliot Park environment, fundamentally as a soccer field it could be improved. There is very little space for spectators around the field. Several times during my soccer game a group of boys would come onto our pitch or kick their ball into our play which was annoying and disruptive. Not a common issue typically for turf fields but there were several holes throughout the field that we had to mark with cones to avoid...

Boooooo! This used to be a softball field. I don't know if they still do this, but they would flood it in winter and turn it into an outdoor skating rink. This was 30 years ago, though. I guess the times...

They should have an easier way to publicly see the park schedule. Came out here 5 times and haven't bene able to practice for 4 of them. Severely...
