We went for the Morgan Wallen/ Bailey Zimmerman concert on Thursday June 20th and although it was a decent show, the audio in that stadium is absolutely terrible. The echo and loudness made it hard to understand what was even playing at times depending on where you were in the building. It'd also be nice if they sent someone around to grab trash at the end of aisles every so often bc people around us were dropping beers and French fries and popcorn n chips and the floor was a sticky chip filled mess any time we tried to even stand up to watch the show. This wouldn't have been as big of an issue if everyone was required to stay seated during the concerts unless going to the concessions or bathroom area. You shouldn't be able to just stand 24/7 just for fun unless the performer asks people to stand for a short time or you need to go up the stairs out of the show for something. We had SLOPPY drunk ladies in front of us, behind us, and to the right of us that were standing n falling over into us constantly, spilling their alcohol on us and all over the seats/ surrounding floor etc. It was a nightmare to stand. When u pay $2400 for 4 tickets u kinda expect people to act somewhat like adults and expect to enjoy the show you paid that much for. Instead the stadium has rules of no lulu lemon belt bags, no purses over certain sizes unless clear, no outside alcohol and no vapes in etc. The people next to us had normal size and colored purses, the ones behind us had clear bags with mini fireballs n other alcohol bottles in them they laughed about getting in with, while vaping. Annoying that we follow the rules and leave stuff home and others dont, and they get away with it. Next time I guess everyone should bring whatever they want since so many dont follow the rules anyways. The people in front of us were so drunk we were astonished the concession area allowed them to order more drinks everytime they left, all while they had a minor child with that we wondered who was now driving home. Then they started spilling on the people in front of them and not only us.. so im sure they ruined their time too. I could go on and on. We are in our 30s ourselves and love to have a great time but the over the top belligerent drunk people, the echo/loudness, the squished together seating with barely any arm rests etc while the drunks around you ALL stand and stumble into you, and the seats you paid for are being spilt all over, made it something I probably wouldn't ever pay to go to ever again. Way better sounding concerts and shows at the casinos throughout the state that aren't that over crowded to where people are a nightmare like they are at this place. If we wouldn't have been spilt on and bumped into multiple times over and over by the same drunks, maybe my opinion would be a littlee different but them allowing people through with whatever they wanted to bring while saying they don't allow this or that in etc wasn't cool. Maybe they need to allow vapes for those of us who smoke and DONT DRINK since we have to deal with those crazy drunk people that also are sneaking their own alcohol in. If we have to deal with people drinking, people should have to deal with others vaping. At least do vape seating too to make it fair bc If I would've had my vape pen I wouldn't have been nearly as bothered by half of these drunks that could barely stand. I'm surprised there isn't a lawsuit from one toppling down the stairs yet. I'm sure it's coming since people drink as much as they want there. But some of us actually followed the rules and didnt bring things with. đ They clearly need to start a wristband rule where u can only have x number of drinks and check it off everytime u go up! After the allotted number is drank, youre cut off. But we know its all about money so why would they do that when they can make those honest, normal customers/guests deal with drunks that are buying all the alcohol from their establishment. I wonder the number of people that drink a ton and drive home after their time at the stadium. At least 10...
Read moreU.S. Bank Stadium in Minneapolis is one of the most impressive, state-of-the-art stadiums in the country. Whether you're a die-hard Vikings fan, a concert-goer, or just someone attending an event, the experience leaves a real impact. The design of the stadium is striking even before you step inside. With its sharp, angular architecture and massive glass walls, it doesnât just look modernâit feels like a statement piece for the city. You can tell it's meant to be a landmark, not just another arena.
The moment you walk through the doors, the energy changes. The interior is enormous but surprisingly welcoming. Natural light floods the concourses during the day, thanks to the transparent ETFE roof and huge windows. The space feels open and vibrant, not boxed-in like some older stadiums. Thereâs something powerful about seeing the Minneapolis skyline through those towering glass panes while being surrounded by thousands of people all focused on one event.
The sound quality is another thing that stands out. Whether itâs the roar of the crowd during a touchdown or the bass from a headlining concert, the acoustics hit hard. You can feel the noise in your chest, and it pulls you into the moment. And yet, the layout of the seats ensures that you always have a clear view. Even the upper levels feel connected to the field or stage. The stadium was clearly built with both immersion and comfort in mind.
What makes U.S. Bank Stadium really shine is how versatile it is. Itâs perfect for NFL games, sure, but it also easily transforms into a world-class concert venue, a stage for college sports, a space for conventions, and even high school championships. It doesnât lose its identity when the event changes. It adapts without compromising. The staff is professional, the security moves quickly, and the food and drink options are actually decentâwhich is rare for most big stadiums.
Everything about the placeâfrom the massive Viking ship at the entrance to the high-tech lighting and video boardsâmakes it feel like more than just a venue. Itâs a full experience. U.S. Bank Stadium feels like it belongs to the community, but at the same time, it holds its own on a national stage. Whether itâs hosting the Super Bowl or a local youth event, the quality doesnât drop. Itâs a place that leaves you excited to come back...
Read moreThis is an absolutely beautiful stadium! I love watching the Vikings play! Thereâs a process to get into the stadium, for any people wondering:
I really canât help you on parking. Iâd recommend being patient and arriving early â traffic can be an absolute nightmare.
Assuming youâre going through the Legacy Gate, youâll have to take the bridge if youâre on foot. Follow the bridge to the security checkpoints.
At the security checkpoint, the line goes pretty quickly. If youâre wearing a jacket, keep it open and empty all of your pockets. You also must take off any hats or coverings. They will give you a bin you can place your cell phone or other small items in, and you can reclaim them after walking through a scanner.
Go through the Legacy Gate and prepare your tickets. There is an NFC scanner at the checkpoint, so Apple Wallet works if you have your ticket stored there.
Find your way to your seat. Be patient, as it can take a while to get through the crowd. If youâre getting food, try to find a wall to stand next to. Youâll have to eat fast if the game starts soon, but it saves a lot of stress with cleaning up at the end of the game.
GAME TIME BABY! Just sit there and watch the Vikings win (and if they donât, just know a blowout is on the horizon :) ). Prepare for sore throats and exposure to 105 - 120dB voice levels. Also, itâs best you learn the SKOL chant or the fight song.
If youâre eating, I recommend Von Hansonâs meats. There are cheeseburgers and brats there. Quick and easy meal. They also sell drinks in a souvenir cup!
There are plenty of Vikings fan gear shops around the stadium, and many places to buy beer.
For the people on the highest level and farthest from the field of play, the view is not bad â itâs really good! Bring a pair of binoculars (you canât bring the case in, though).
The energy is lively â the SKOL chants, the player introduction, the Gjallerhorn, and the occasional âIâm Shipping Up to Bostonâ snippet. Be prepared to bring the energy!
Absolutely beautiful stadium, and itâs worth attending a game! SKOL Vikings (and go J.J!)...
