The Elderferry cupcake from Woke Cakez is a transcendently delicious treat. The floral flavor notes, the cloud-like fluffy texture of the frosting, the whole blackberry nestled within the perfectly dense, delicious cake itself?? I was truly transported into a blissful realm for the few moments during which my sensorium was engaged with this work of dessert art. I was also delightfully awed by the high level of creativity and adventurous spirit that went into dreaming up these flavors - not a boring standard in the bunch, each cupcake on offer was a unique original! I really hope to sample one of the black sesame cakes next time, or maybe the cocoa lavender or possibly the one with citrus and calendula?? Such a hard choice! Thank you for coming out to the Open Streets Glenwood, and thank you for putting more top-quality vegan baked goods into the world! Woke Cakez is delicious! They have wholesome ingredients and unique flavors , which sets them aside from the rest. I’ve had many different vegan baked goods and find it’s hard to achieve that creamy moistness that non vegan Products have , unlike these cupcakes . These cupcakes are tender , soft and don’t taste like they are substituting for something but simply highlighting other ingredients. Perfect for those who are trying to avoid dairy or animal products but also folks who don’t eat vegan sweets have enjoyed them when I’ve shared . I’ve tried all their cupcakes but my favorites have been the biscoff , raspberry and the St.Patricks...
