I have to say that I'm very disappointed with the service I received.... I was desperately looking for a funding organization to pick up where My last organization ended. When I first walked in and told them my situation. That my finding organization to ended and that I was already a month into my search. The director told me that I found the right place and that they would help me.. He assured me that they would help pay my rent and I should not worry. I stopped looking I called and stopped down everyday to check in and see how everything was going. As time passed I realized that I haven't filled out any paperwork or even heard from them for awhile. I went down to talk to them also to let them know that they were going to start eviction soon if It doesnr get paid. He assured me they would pay my rent. Time goes on while I still go down every other day or call to see what going on. They would say they are waiting for the acceptance from GRH, which I honestly still didn't fill out that application, the director said he was going to submit the application. I do not know if he ever did as he said he would contact me and ask me the questions that are needed for the application. Eventually it came down to me going down there and saying hey I didn't get any help with rent so now they are filing for eviction. Than the director says hmmm I think we have a housing lawyer/attorney that we can see and set you up with. Which never happened. They told me to look for places and I found them I applied. When all was done all that was needed was a letter of guarantee from frontier living. Which he said was sending right away. 2 weeks later I'm wondering what's going on. I call they say they are still waiting on letter of guarantee. The director stopped answering my calls.. When I would go to the office and would wait there you especially because I was now homeless. They would tell me that he was in the bathroom. I would wait for like an hour before they would tell me that he is too busy and to call before I come down next time.. Which they stopped answering the phone. I Requested a new case manager. She seemed very well going. We looked at a few places the last place we looked at, told them my situation, and they said it wasn't a problem all they needed was letter of guarantee and I would be in. My case manager and the guy exchanged number. I went home and eagerly waiting to go sign the lease....after a day or 2 I called my new case manager .... No answer..I called every other day if not every day..about a month and a half later I finally hear back from her, she said she was on vacation....... Than says they got my name on the public housing list. Which I don't believe they have done anything at all for me except help me stop looking for a funding organization that would have helped me not into eviction or the streets but out of it. That would explain why they never followed through with letter of guarantee if I didn't apply and then director didn't try like he said he would. I don't recommend anyone to go here. Although they did get my friend I referred when I thought they were actually doing something for me. They moved him into a place...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreAmber is exceptional! She has been a lifesaver and advocate, a resource and an angel to me. She has provided excellent resources to help me function in my current environment. There have been numerous management mistakes with my current apartment lease and she has willingly communicated with apartments management and the housing authority to advocate for me. She met with me to review my 16 page apartment lease and explained it to me and witnessed my signature. When the housing authority insisted my lease was never signed and wanted it to switch me to market rate rent she was able to advocate on my behalf. Without her help in this mater I would have been wrongfully evicted. There were also inaccurate charges for utilities and Amber was able to come to a resolution and get the...

She had me to sign them and she did all of the work of filling out the applications. She did not stop until she found me emergency shelter. I had a deadline to leave from where I was. I was frustrated and stressed for not knowing where I was going. I've never been homeless before in my life and Tracey stepped in and have me hope again when she didn't give up on me until she accomplished what she set out to do and that was to help little o me. I'm 61 years of age and this is all new for me. She came and picked me up two days before deadline and brought me to a safe place that I just love. She told me that whatever I need to call her. God has sent to me an angel and her...
