I've been taking boxing classes with Heidi for a long, long time. First back at Uppercut Boxing Gym where she was an instructor, and now in her own space at Minneapolis Boxing Club. Heidi and Joe have built an incredible space, from the instructors, to the members and whether you're looking to get in the ring and fight or would just like a good workout where you are happening to learn a new sport in the process you're going to get the support you need here. I'm happy to take up the sport again...

I went to two classes and no one introduced themselves to me in either one, including the instructors. Either I made the introduction myself, or they came up to me halfway through the class. When it came time to partner up, students actively avoided working with me as the new person. At the end of class, people chit-chatted, but again avoided speaking to me.
I really wanted to go back because I need practice with mitt work, but I think I'm going to try and find...
