Northeast Farmers Market is probably one of the top for farmers markets in the state of Minnesota on a weekly basis across the summer. It has the Supreme advantage of being on the northeast side of the river and in a location well-known. The season is early we went to its season opener which was last Saturday. There were lots of baked goods and other choices, lots of fresh plants for your garden, and even some produce. considering our late season start this year with a blizzard a mere month ago, that is not a minor statement. My three-year-old got a donut, which made her very happy, and made the next two hours very wild for Mom and me. But unless you live on an island, homeschool, or I just bloody weird I just don't see how you keep the kid from getting a donut once in awhile. Considering the heat wave were in, this was one of the oddly cool days seasonally appropriate mind you, that we had. It didn't stop us from showing up or hundreds of others, nor did it slow down the live music playing which was quite Pleasant. If you missed the market on Saturday you can always go to the Eastside co-op on Central, they are core founding members. Later today I will update this with some photos I took while...
Read moreSocially distant and close-to-contactless but very friendly ... just enough variety of fresh goods with meat, cheese, vegetables, herbs, mushrooms, condiments and specialties, along with plants and flowers, jewelry, pottery, and more. Zero imported chintz. Enjoy fresh and locally-made foods to take away to eat. Very hygienic everywhere with hand washing and gel stations at the entrance. The welcome and information booth also helps shoppers buy tokens with cash or credit for easy purchasing, a low fee of $1, and the $5 tokens don't expire. Vendors accept cash and tokens, some credit, and give change with paper currency and coins. This outdoor lot market is very wheelchair-friendly with level grounds, no concrete medians, and wide spaced ingresses and egresses. Those with health risks are welcomed from 9-10am, but there are still fresh offerings in the early afternoon toward close at 1pm. After months indoors, I wish I could...

Vendors can change weekly so make sure to check the website if you're looking for a particular one. They host lots of fun events all year, so follow their Instagram to keep update. This is a great community market and definitely worth a...
