Visited the pool after the reconstruction and I was blown away! The lap pool is separated from family pool and I was the only person there on Saturday afternoon. Water was warm, and not too chlorinated which is a big plus. One side of the pool drops to a deep end, but diving was not allowed. There is lots of fresh new equipment to use during swim, and the lifeguard was present. I used to go to Lifetime downtown, and I can tell you that this pool is wayyyy nicer, especially for 5$ drop in rate. Locker rooms are super clean, although lockers do not lock, but there are hangers in the pool area where you can leave your bag. Showers have hot water, but no soap so bring your own. Read moreDropped in as a guest to the Minnesota Ice masters swim team practices over the holidays and had a great time! The masters team was friendly and welcoming - they swim about 3k in an hour with lanes of varying paces. Fun vibes on deck with music blasting during practice!
The community center has two pools, and plenty of kickboards and pullbuoys available to borrow. The masters team brings their swim bags out on deck during practice, and hangs them on hooks along the wall. Locker rooms were clean and showers were hot. Will be back next time...
Read moreThis is our second year coming here for toddler swim lessons and could not be happier. The instructors have all be wonderful. They utilize a lot of great equipment like floating pads the kids can sit/lay on independently. They offer great advice and techniques, but let you customize it to your child. The long zero entry ramp, easy stairs, and sitting ledge have all given my child more confidence. The locker rooms are spacious and new. I love all the sunlight you get in the pool for being indoors.
