Franklin Library - Hennepin County Library — Attraction in Minneapolis

This is the loudest library ever. The staff is nice but the regulars are rude, and mostly hang outside doing drugs in the open. Imagine taking your child to this library and that's what you see. I have auditory processing disorder and libraries are usually a safe place for me to concentrate and feel calm, but this was absolutely horrifying. I doubt they'll ever change. Don't go here. Staff seems nice; however, they make it impossible to read or study over their very loud conversations... Which seems to neglect the purpose of a library. It also seemed to be a bring your kid to work day, as they were loudly communicating with their kids about different things, and allowing the kids to yell about games, and sing like it’s an opera room. Live in Dakota county, Came here to use a guest pass. When I was looking for a computer (all full) walked by the youth computers & fully aware they were for youth by the sign but was rudely approached by a worker letting me know this when i was just walking by.
