Pow Wow Grounds is awesome, I love the coffee, I love the Art in the gallery connected to it, I thing the staff are awesome as they always make me smile and I always seem to end up having very interesting conversations. I do miss being able to have a cigarette with my coffee, and it's winter so I wish they had an outdoor heater or two, so it wouldn't be so dang cold out there! I do like the picnic table out there to sit at at least! I wonder if anyone has asked them to get a heater for outside?? I wonder 8f they read these? Well eitherway the inside is warm and toasty, good company, great Art, and perfect location for what it is too. Stop by there and check it out, and check out the art gallery they share the space with too, and if you ejoyed this review please give it a thiumbs up and after you check out the Pow Wow Grounds coffee house, don't forget to get on here and wrote your own review, I'm sure that you'll love it, it's everything I said and more! Did I mention that you can buy a t-shirt there too, and they usually have some beadwork pieces for sale if your into beadwork! Locally beaded too! Now go grab some...

It’s FRY BREAD Tacos not the BEST I’ve ever had (that’s somewhere in WY) yet pretty good. I really wish they would’ve made them larger so the edges can be eaten later with butter & honey 😋 The truck/mini restaurant was a tad difficult to find as you pass on the side & it doesn’t have the name. So if you see a truck on Friday or Saturday…that’s where they have the fry bread taco. It’s $11 for one, tad pricey as it’s smaller than in WY. In winter you order & go wait inside with a ticket #. They will come in & bring it to you, yet you have to ask the counter person (who wasn’t paying any attention to customers) for plastic utensils, & grab some napkins. There’s places to sit, mostly staring at the wall, yet it’s better than eating in the car. The taco comes with beef, lettuce, tomate, onion, cheese, jalapeño, mild salsa, black olives & sour cream. It tastes like taco salad on a bun which tastes similar to a fried donut. Pretty good. Would definitely come again, especially if Trikster tacos is about the same…checking them...

Overall (2.7 stars composite score): Decent neighborhood joint. Drinks and food are kind of average and at standard pricing. They could put in some effort into making the place cleaner.

Drinks/Food (60% of 1.5 star total): .9 Stars. Latte was kind of lukewarm and nowhere sweet enough. Burritos were pre-made and microwaved. Unfortunately, the tortilla stuck to the paper and it kind of fell apart.

Service (70% of 1 star total): .7 stars Employee vibes were pretty friendly, but not overly warm.

Value (70% of 1/2 star total): All pricing was pretty standard.

WiFi/Power (50% of 1/2 star total): .25 stars Wifi wasn't working at all. Plenty of power outlets though.

Seating (70% of 1/2 star total): .35 stars Adequate seating. I liked the abundance of rail seating, although the tables were all lopsided.

Atmosphere (50% of 1 star total): .5 stars. Restrooms require a key. It smelled kind of bad and wasn't very clean. There were a lot of flies buzzing around, and the staff wasn't willing to deal with it. No...

A hidden gem! Pow Wow Grounds is the best. Indigenous owned, cozy and supporting the local community. Service: is always great- they are friendly, fast and supporting the community. Upholding the true Native cultural values, consider donating to their “elder cup" which allows our elders to get coffee they deserve but otherwise could not do. Food: amazing! Their coffee, frappes and drinks are the best! Fresh, tasty and leave you feeling refreshed afterwards. Just my absolute favorite and wished I lived closer. Also, their bakery is wonderful. The fry bread on Fridays is to die for- but come early to get it! I haven’t tried the soup but heard it is amazing! Atmosphere: cozy and filled with indigenous culture. You can buy shirts and at times other beading. They have free books for kids, a connected art gallery and local post guides. Highly recommend this place!!

Wonderful coffee, indigenous snacks and food, and an amazing art gallery next door. One thing i love about this place is that you can purchase an "elder cup" which allows folks to come in and get coffee when they might not be able to otherwise. Their work for the Native community is amazing, which is another reason to come. And super friendly folks!
