WARNING: Pattern of Conduct That Raises Serious Concerns
In April 2025, I paid Jason $600 for repair services. He personally scheduled an appointment for Easter Sunday but failed to appear, without any prior notice or communication. When I followed up the next day, he stated he had been ill and claimed both of his phones were left at the shop, preventing him from responding.
Out of concern that I may have been misled, I initially filed a claim with my bank. After the claim was withdrawn, Wells Fargo released the funds back to him; however, I was informed his Zelle account remains inaccessible due to alleged suspicious activity.
Over the following months, I made multiple good-faith attempts to obtain a refund, but none was provided. As of August 2024, no refund has been issued, and my most recent follow-up attempt was unsuccessful. While I cannot speak to his intent, the overall pattern of taking payment, not performing the work, and retaining the funds has left me feeling deceived and with no choice but to pursue legal remedies.
