I’m very disappointed with our experience we’ve had at Wedding day diamonds- Minnetonka. We were referred to this location and were impressed with the warranty. The ring buying process was great, our jeweler helped guide us along the way to customizing my engagement ring. These issues we experienced happened when the ring was so called “done”. we had purchased a pre set diamond from the case that was supposed to be in a different setting I had customized, and resized. Neither of those were done and the ring I was proposed to with looked nothing like the ring I customized nor did it even fit, nothing was done to it. It was in their possession for many months. I understand things happen and was understanding, but when I went in to get it fixed, who seemed like a manger, essentially blamed us for “not communicating with our jeweler and reiterating what the setting needed to be” when my fiance purchased the ring. Keep in mind I was there and know for a fact I asked our jeweler multiple times before leaving if it was correctly put into their notes the customizations I wanted and I was told yes. But as a customer, that’s not our responsibility to make sure they do their job. But I understand things happen and that’s not what I’m disappointed in, i’m disappointed in the way I was treated when I went to get my ring corrected, and how I felt going in for the next few weeks while my ring was being corrected. Again, I understand things happen but all I wanted was an apology and accountability taken for the mistake made but instead we were made to feel like this whole thing was our fault and that’s not how a customer should be made to feel when it’s not their mistake but the company’s. And the rings still not correct after weeks of dealing with this. That’s why this review is being written. While I would like to continue with this company and give another chance, I have not recommended this location to anyone due to our experience, but hope that we can go to another location and have a much better experience. I had found what I thought was the perfect green sapphire engagement ring for my proposal and originally came in to just get the ring sized and inspected in time for the proposal. Unfortunately I didn't realize that the sapphire was in an old and damaged ring that turned out not to be the right kind of metal anyway and the damage was not salvageable. Initially, I was sad because I was very emotionally attached to many of the little details of the ring and Amanda was so understanding and encouraging. She restored my hope when she said that although it could not be used as the final ring, she would be able to help me work it out. She expertly guided me through my options for designing and recreating a brand new beautiful ring using the original green sapphire center stone that I loved so much and we could design the new ring to look like everything I was envisioning in my head.

It has always been a dream of mine to collaborate and design a totally unique ring with my fiancé and so we changed the plan I am so grateful for everything Amanda did to help us achieve that dream! After proposing with the damaged ring, my fiancé and I went in and had so much fun at our appointment with Amanda just dreaming and nailing down all the design details together. We could tell that she was just as excited as we were when the ring was officially completed and she knew we were ecstatic with the result!! We absolutely adore our stunning one-of-kind ring and we can't thank her enough for her knowledge, patience, and genuine enthusiasm and passion for her role in creating a meaningful ring for such a formative event in our lives. We will never forget that! We have already been back several times for other jewelry projects since and have had stellar experiences every single time. Wedding Day Diamonds has definitely gained a new loyal customer!

I was looking to upgrade my wife's wedding ring after 32 wonderful years of marriage, with her birthday coming up soon. We were initially struggling to find the perfect stone, but Amanda was incredibly patient and attentive. She informed us that they had just received a stunning new diamond that had just arrived, and she eagerly showed it to us. It was absolutely perfect—the sparkle and clarity were mesmerizing!

Amanda explained that it would take about two weeks to set the new diamond into my wife’s original ring. This timeline presented a little hiccup since her birthday was right around the corner, but Amanda came to the rescue. I reached out to her to see if there was any chance the ring would be ready before the deadline.
