It’s frustrating when they forget about you. We stopped in for a to-go order and placed it with the hostess, who said it would take 15 minutes and invited us to take a seat right up front next to her at the register. The time came and went as a steady stream of take-out orders were brought out from the kitchen and picked up. When too much time passed, I approached the hostess and it was like she had never seen me before. She asked if I wanted to place an order. I told her we already did. She asked for my name, which I never gave to her when we ordered. Then she asked me to tell her what we ordered. After going through all these steps, she found our bag, which had been sitting up front and forgotten for some time. The entire interaction left me believing she had no recollection of ever taking our order or curiosity as to why we were sitting and waiting all that time ten feet away from her.
