Panera Bread — Restaurant in Minnetonka

I have a couple of complaints about this Panera location. I want to start by saying that my boyfriend and I have never ordered from this Panera before today. First, the website is not user friendly on a Mac. We were able to see almost none of the screen and were asked many questions before we could even check out (want to add a smoothie? Want to add a cookie or muffin? Want to donate money?). Second, our order was set for 6:30pm. Fast forward to 6:50pm and he finally got the order. He asked a worker what happened to our order and she stated only that she would grab her manager. They did not keep my boyfriend updated with what was going on at all. He was standing there waiting for 20 minutes while they searched for the order! Finally, they came out with our order and the manager smiled, but truthfully that doesn’t make things right in our eyes. We will not be ordering from this location again, which disappoints me because we live no more than a mile away.

I want to also add that I understand many restaurants are short staffed; however, we ordered two bowls of soup and one baguette 45 minutes in advance. Where could this order...

Today i ordered A bowl of Chicken Wild Rice Soup which costs over $6 alone and requested a croissant as my side in place of their hard baguettes especially after they took away their soft dinner roll. This was a huge ordeal where they had to ask another person and that other person had to ask their manager who was extremely rude about the whole thing and looked like he hated his life and everyone in his store. This has never been an issue at any other location as their food alone is already pretty spendy, and you should want to make your customer happy especially over something so little. I ended up being charged almost $4 for a croissant. My total coming to almost $10 for a bowl of soup and a piece of bread... Every experience here has always been terrible and the staff have been extremely rude. STAY AWAY! There are plenty of other good restaurants that deserve your hard earned...

This is definitely one of the better Paneras I have been to! The staff are nice and friendly. The food is standard Panera fare. The layout is just a bit weird (the entrances are kind of on either end. So if you come in one side you have to walk through like a galley area to get to the counter. A bit confusing the first time) Seating is plentiful and they even have nice outdoor seating! Even when it was pretty packed this morning with the lunch rush, the ordering queue was moving quickly and there were still enough tables to sit at. The only con is that the air conditioning was way too cold the first time I was there. But not too bad!

They also seem to be well stocked and not dirty unlike other Paneras I’ve seen. One of their workers was kind of wiping down tables and the drinks counter between customers....
