Chaos Games — Local services in Minot

I came in and sold some cards and was really surprised on the store, had a lot of sealed product options and a decent singles selection, beautiful store in my opinion. But was met with an employee with an attitude.(And after reading some reviews this seems pretty common) Snarky, and acted like every question was a waste of his time, just an ass really. Witnessed him do the same to the one other customer that came to the counter with questions as well, just in general the guy is clearly not a good face for the store. I'm almost certain the the value of my trade ins were under valued or he didn't even include some of them in the transaction, but I just took the hit and took what I could get for them as I had several hours left to drive, and I'm sure he would have just turned me away if I asked for a full break down of what they were offering. Then the cards I purchased and the one expensive card I decided not to sell, he shoved them all in one sleeve and pressed them into the case, which they didn't fit into because he shoved them all into one sleeve. Had I not been able to get the cards out safely without damaging them we would have had a real problem. Whoever the owner is needs to get him out of there, he clearly does not care if he would have ruined a $200 card that didn't even belong to the store! He clearly doesn't care about quality and customer satisfaction. This is the first review I have ever felt that I have needed to write, and hopefully it's the last! Won't be back ever.

Edit: I found out the employee I'm talking about is Sam and has had negative reviews just like mine for atleast 3 years or more ago, and is still doing it. My friends and I come to minot every year to buy fireworks for the 4th, and every year we stop here at this card store because we all became friends by playing magic the gathering together and learning the game in middle school. As of the last 5 years my friends and I have been coming to this store around July 4th. I have nothing but good things to say. Clean and organized store in every location I've seen it, friendly staff and fellow customers whom I've never had a negative interaction with, and an excellent selection. I've gotten lots of sealed product in the past, and I got a ton of singles (of which there was an excellent selection) this year and completed a new deck to use. I wanted to mention specifically as well the gentleman Logan who helped me out with pricing my singles and I want to both praise his service and apologize to him because I feel a little bad. I kept him a few minutes after closing, but he was a good sport about it and got me all situated with my new cards and was an excellent help even though I was a bit of a pain haha😅. Pretty disappointed in the attitude from the employees. Every time I come in, I’m treated like I know nothing about what I’m buying. I come wanting to spend money ($100+) to improve my mtg decks, yet I am always treated poorly by the staff. I enjoy the card selections, but if this wasn’t one of the only card shops in Minot, I wouldn’t go because I’m treated like I’m naive. The employees never seem happy that I’m there, and treat me like I’m an inconvenience. I also am disappointed that none of your mtg precons are priced. When asked, the employee said it’s because the prices fluctuate so much, but I have never been to a card shop who doesn’t just change the sales tag.
