Magic City Sweets Ice Cream & Gourmet Sandwiches — Restaurant in Minot

In the afternoon of Aug 13 we ordered 3 milkshakes and an ice cream cone. The milkshakes were very thin and milky and not at all what we expected from a well-reviewed place. They were out of several important things to have at an ice cream store, like vanilla, chocolate, mint chocolate chip, and coffee ice cream. But most of all, service was terrible. The young guy who helped us should probably be fired he was so bad at his job. He had a bad attitude, made orders incorrectly, and honestly made the whole process slower than if he had not been there at all. The girl who helped us was very nice and very good and she should be running the place because management needs improvement.

Been here many times before and had great experience. Brought my girlfriend and her family and my kids, woman behind the counter was very rude, courtney.

Since I cant figure how to respond I will add to my post. I didnt do this to hurt your business or courtney. Everyone in our party noticed how rude she was. I like your business, that's why I brought my gf and her family. As for her working alone, at my company if people call in I have to come in, so for her being by herself on a Saturday that's not an excuse. Definitely not Courtney fault but management should have little more respect for their employees. I will go there again, my kids have ALWAYS liked it there. I do not have Facebook so I post here cause I google map everything...

Updated review, 2025: I took my daughter again last week, after my first visit we had so much fun that now every time we’re downtown we have to make a stop. ❤️ Everyone is so as kind and energetic as they were when they first opened, you can tell the owners are passionate about what they do! Thank you for continuing to satisfy our sweet tooth!

This place is SO. STINKIN. FUN. A complete sensory playground, and the ice cream is SOOO good!!! The staff that helped me was so kind and helpful and sold it as an experience! My two year old LOVED all the fun seating options and the decor. We had SO much fun here, next time I’ll come for lunch and check out Magic City Hoagies as well....
