Little Blue Elephant — Restaurant in Minot

The setting was awesome really, had the old world effect. Very similar to the world from across the pond to the east. Since returning to the USA, i been searching for flavors. Now this is by no means a negative review, but the wow factor wasn't there. Spice hot, awesome very delicious. Heat is rare here, however the flavor wasn't all the way. Certainly i wanted to climax in my palet, it was great foreplay but that doesn't get me over the top. Manual ingredients were added after getting home. Once tamerin was added, few more crunchy yummies then a secret gentlemans sauce, awww yes it was greatly improved. Look this wasn't a failure at launch, there are few in town that are terrible. But Blue Elephant will get your old world Ambiance, kind of like a bar in Korea i would sit at and watch people while having a side dish. Real Thai food all the time. Duck, Pho, Fried rice, Pad Sue Wee, you name it, he'll make it.

It a small little restaurant right off the main street down in Minot. Ken has established his place here in Minot for easily over 10 years!

I always get the spicy. To the point he has memorized my order. Which means he invests into each person. But if yo are not a fan of spice, that's OK. He delivers consistent results and even has a big food truck during the State Fair every year.

This is far by my most favorite Thai place of all time. Even when I was in CA for 5 years. Ken and the little Ble Elephant easily beats them all.

I just order some pho , drunken noodles , and some sushi . Literally the best sushi I have had in Minot , quit going to ND Asia, this is the spot here .

I rlly came here for the pho. I was too lazy to make it myself. I’m glad i came here because the pho was SO good , I was scared to order it because not everyone can get pho broth right. BUT THIS HIT THE SPOT.

The man at the front was so sweet , he thanked me for supporting his business and told me to make sure I don’t tip the food over because he wanted me to open the sushi and see the presentation .It was so good and the presentation looked very gourmet . I wish i ordered more sushi. I wish I took pictures before I scarfed the food down lol

Definitely will be back here . Definitely in my top 3 here in Minot ....
