Off The Vine — Restaurant in Minot

Ill give this a three because ive been here once. First experience was below average. Its a cool nice place however the black table cloths make a fine place look very tacky. Almost felt like walking into a workshop of sorts. The lounge area was nice but the furniture was way too close to the fire place so it was a tight fit. The menu seemed like it had a fine selection. I ordered the cheese pizza and I got a frozen pizza. When i say frozen pizza i mean that they literally took a frozen pizza from walmart or somewhere and heated it up and served it as their own. Not good. I know this because I've tasted that frozen pizza before. The bottom was white and uncooked just like a frozen pizza would be. I cannot believe the audacity this place had to charge 14 dollars for a pizza they don't even make. Very unsatisfying...please stop serving...

The knowledge of wine that the staff had was great. Most of the food was okay, though I felt like we were overpaying for lower quality ingredients. This was especially noticeable in the charcuterie board. We immediately noticed the types of cheeses were not listed in the menu and our server did not tell us what they were upon dropping the board off. We would of flagged her down but unfortunately did not see her for another 30 minutes (I won’t fault her for that though as it was a fairly busy night and they appeared understaffed). It didn’t take long to discover what the cheeses were, as the flavors were pretty generic. The rest of the charcuterie (the deserts, meats, crackers) were overall pretty underwhelming. Agreeing with what others have said, this place has a lot of potential but it feels like experience...

I came here with some friends after dinner so I got a dessert and a NA (non alcoholic) wine.

Based on service and atmosphere alone I give them 5 stars. Service was very attentive and the restaurant was so cute.

My friends got some wine flights that looked good and they came with hand written names accompanying them. Little details like that is impressive to me.

I hope to come back and try their food! My pizookie did take 20 mins as I was informed but it did not disappoint. Came out in a piping hot dessert cast iron topped with vanilla ice cream. It was a treat.

I appreciated their selection of NA beverage so I can still partake without feeling left out. The shorted haired wait staff was so nice and patient with us....
