If I could, I would give more than 5 stars. I don’t do a whole lot of reviews but this one is one that by far is the best I have given so far - and so deserved. Howard, Michael, Pete and the entire team were simply amazing at getting my pool table, as well as bar and stools, moved, set up, and looking incredible. From the initial call I had with Howard, I could tell that there is so much truth to all the raving reviews and 5 stars. I was trying to decide on a pool table that was being sold by a private owner. Howard took my call and walked me through all the things I should consider. We went back and forth a few times with follow up questions and items I should consider when buying a pool table from a private owner. Every time, he was extremely friendly, knowledgeable and flexible - always looking out for my interest and making me more educated with each call. The owner wanted to sell his table as soon as possible and had a waiting list of customers, so I had to make a decision in a matter of hours. Although Howard was extremely helpful on the phone and through text - offering to look closely at the pictures and review the table with me over the phone, he knew that I wasn’t too sure about the purchase and wanted me to feel confident in making sure I wasn’t buying a lemon pool table. He moved his schedule around and offered to meet me at the guy’s home to inspect the pool table. Once there he took his time to check all aspects of structure and performance. He advised me on a few things that might need some additional work but gave me the assurance that it was a good table and a good deal. Michael and team came over on the day and time they had a arranged to move the table to my house. They took the time to share with me what they were doing and what needed to still happen with the set up. Michael was very detailed with my table and made sure it looked as good as it could be before leaving - even polishing it. When Howard and Michael returned to install the rails and table cloth, they noticed that a few of my pockets were too tight. I agreed with them and they suggested to take them back to the shop to make sure the pocket spacing was done right. When they returned to put my pool table together and set up my bar/stools - they left no detail unchecked. They even surprised me with some tasty and refreshing treats. Thank you!!! The love that Howard, Michael, Pete and team have for the game and for quality work is rare to find these days. I am extremely grateful for all your skillful and kind efforts to set up a pool table space that will bring many memorable moments in the future. Thank you Howard and the entire Mission Billiards &...

That's Mission Billiards & Barstools in every way. Peter is great...it's clear billiards is a lifelong love of his and he's eager to assist you in any way you want. Whether it's selecting a cue stick, taking pro lessons, improving your rails or pockets, transporting a table, changing the felt, leveling or buying one...this is your one & done shop. They do it all and they do it better than anyone else around. I can't really explain it but there's something about Mission Billiards & Barstools that's unique. Almost like a throwback in time when things were just more gentlemanly, and people actually cared about their customers instead of upselling them. Peter listens to you, he asks key questions so he can guide you to exactly what you want. And he'll have it. And if what you need is someone who can observe your game and show you how to improve it...he's your guy. I wanted to master level 10 English and ball jumping on a tournament table...no prob. Peter showed me the basics, handed me a variety of cues to try and I left with a Pearson cue ideal for breaking and jumping & a new case. Here's the important takeaway...there was no "sales effort" involved. I played, I learned, I enjoyed myself and had to push him to sell me stuff. So whether you are new to pool, want to up your game or even go pro...this is the shop and Peter is the man you want to talk to. He is nothing you'd expect and everything you want and need. We are lucky to have Mission Billiards & Barstools in our backyard. But don't sit in the monster rocking barstool...it's way too damn...
Read moreIf you ever need any type of Billards service THIS is the place to go. Christmas was approaching fast & I was lucky enough to come across a standard regulation table for my significant other. Not having a lick of knowledge, I spent a day looking into how I could possibly transport the table from point A to point B by myself where I stumbled across the Mission Billiards website and connected with Howard. Howard was beyond professional and gave us the 411 on how much money we would save in the long haul with a simple transfer fee (I.e having it moved professionally) rather than taking the chance of completely damaging our slate and moving the table ourselves resulting in thousands of dollars in repairs later on. While most people hear that and think it's a scam to get business, one conversation with Howard and your doubts are settled. He's been in his business for a really long time, he knows what he's doing & he's always looking out for his customers best interest. He came out with his teammate David and they both took amazing care transporting our table from an outside setting to the inside of our garage. To watch the table be taken apart & put together again with such care & professionalism was an all new experience for us!! They explained what they were doing, took the time to explain to us how to properly care & maintain our table (things we would have never thought of!)
Needless to say anyone asking us, or looking for any type of billiards services new & old , we will certainly be sending them to...
