I bought 6 pieces of furniture here in May of 2024, 1 of them being a California King bed. The bed wasn't going to arrive for months, and I was aware of that delay. It finally arrived and was delivered Sept 26th, but it was the wrong size. The rails sent were Eastern King. This was someone else's mistake, NOT mine. The solution from management was that I needed to wait another 4 months for the rails. I told them the more reasonable solution was to simply get me a new mattress. The one I asked them for was an Avocado eco mattress costing $1529, with delivery within the week since they are made in Los Angeles. They were already offering to provide me with the correct size of bunkie board to lower the mattress to a reasonable height. (I am currently using my previous box springs and mattress that causes the bed to be at counter height, making me have to lift myself into it every time I climb in). Management was not amenable to my solution, even though I explained in detail my issues with their solution. In fact, Jeff laughed at one of my reasons flat out.
I told them I would buy the mattress myself and look into dealing with them thru the BBB to see if we could come to a better solution. The next day, I was contacted by someone new, offering me a discount of exactly the price of the mattress. Great. I'm glad we could come to a meeting of the minds, esp since I spent over $30k in your store & being treated like I was the problem wasn't really working for me.
I was then told several days later how much the bunkie boards would cost (over $400), even though I had been offered them as part of the solution. I was then told that was only going to be "temporary" until I waited 4 months for the rails to come in. I told them to forget it and ordered my own for $129 on Amazon.
I regret ever coming into this store. My salesperson and designer, Shervin, is lovely, and I enjoyed working with her. This all became a mess when Jeff, the store manager, didn't seem to know how to reasonably help a person who spent the amount of money I did for someone on their end to screw up. I know they think asking a customer to wait 8 months for a bed seems reasonable to them, somehow, but it isn't. I worked retail for 30 years and have never had a problem with such a simple solution go the way this has. It's absolutely...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThe Misson Viejo store sold me outdoor Tommy Bahamas furniture without having to buy their overpriced cushions. After taking my money (and several days had passed) they said we cannot ship until you agree to pay for the cushions (sold and priced separately). I did not want the cushions. The reason given was that TB does not want to risk their furniture not looking to their standards without their cushions. My reply: These are going in my house, not a hotel and there is not even a TB label where anyone will know. Woodbridge does not stand up for their customers and lets their vendors dictate a very flawed policy. You would also think Woodbridge would have known what TB policy was before selling me the frames and made it clear at the beginning. I decided to move forward anyway when I was promised by Jeff the store manager that it would not take more than 6 weeks or so to get the cushions after his sales associate told me it would take 3 months. I wrote to Jeff to cancel the order and that 3 months would not work!! He wrote back to me (I saved it), that's not the case and his sales associate was mistaken. Well it took 3 months and the reason I was given was that Lexington/TB was having computer problems at their factory. When I asked for some type of discount and to go back to TB/Lexington for "their" issue, not mine---Jeff said nothing he can do after contacting ownership at Woodbridge. Jeff is a nice man but has no authority to do what is right for his customers. Woodbridge ownership obviously does not support their customers or even their manager at this store and lets their vendors dictate everything. Be very careful what you buy here---if there is any issue that's not your fault---they do not have your back. ...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreWe met Sherri Skillman when we came to Woodbridge in search of furniture for our new home that we were purchasing out of state. After living in the same home for 28 years, we had donated all of our old furniture and were ready to start fresh, and although we knew we wanted a particular look and feel for our new home, I was having trouble describing what I had in mind. Sherri immediately made us feel welcome and relaxed, and within just a few minutes of listening, she was somehow able to understand our ideas, taste and style, and instinctively selected a gorgeous sofa pillow fabric in a pattern that embodied the mood, style and colors that I had been dreaming of. I instantly fell in love with it, and the entire design of our great room and dining room blossomed out of that very first thing that Sherri had shown us. Over a two day period, we (along with our dog, who was in a stroller the entire time) spent about 7 hours with Sherri, and the amazing Woodbridge Store Manager, Jeff, ultimately purchasing furniture for our guest suite and master suite. They were amazing professionals and incredibly kind people, and we left feeling as if we had made treasured friends. We are thrilled with everything we purchased, and canāt wait to see it all in our new home, once construction is complete. Sherri continues to keep in touch, shopping and researching additional items for our home, which we deeply appreciated. Thank you, Sherri and Jeff! If we had the option to give you a 1,000 star...
