Yoke's Fresh Market on Reserve — Local services in Missoula

The prices are alright, but not the best (the Rosauer's nearby is cheaper for most things). But my real problem with this store is the management.

I've been followed around a few times by their painfully obvious security "officers", one of which is a blonde woman who wears weird clothes, like something a teenager would wear, with ripped-up jeans and mall hoodies and so on. They'll follow you from aisle to aisle, pretending to look at things with no cart and never taking anything off the shelves. It's incredibly uncomfortable.

I don't know if they follow me just because I'm in my 20's, or what, but it makes it feel really awkward to shop there. I've worked in loss prevention, so I know what they're doing, and...

They don’t have anything that you can’t get elsewhere (Good Food Store, Natural Grocers, even Albertsons or Walmart) - in fact they have noticeably less selection. On top of that, the prices aren’t great either. I don’t really get what the fuss is about; people seem to rave about the meat and deli which I have no interest in, and the rest was underwhelming. Seems like there are way more natural/naturalish grocery stores in Missoula than I would have expected, but having lived most of my life in similarly-sized college towns in the Midwest and Southeast, I’m used to fewer but much better stores. Been coming to the store since it was Safeway now, many years later, it's Yolks. Unfortunately with all the remodeling I have noticed that they are mislabeling prices. If you're to shop here, expect to pay a higher price at the checkout than what the price tag shows. Sometimes the clerk will put in the right price at checkout after I ask about it, but not always. I have even gone out of my way to tell the management that their prices are off yet over a month later they're still the wrong prices. I've decided that I'm no longer coming here because they are overpriced, they don't have any good sales and they decide to charge you more at checkout than what is...
