Fiesta en Jalisco — Restaurant in Missoula

So I got a to go order today on July 16th, and the girl who took my order over the phone was training so it took like 10 minutes and I only ordered 3 meals which was alright but when I got there they had me pay before giving me my food, I noticed there was 4 meals in the bag and I asked about it politely and it looked like the lady who owns it came and (she was Mexican and had longish black hair in a poneytail) , she was extremely rude and rolled her eyes then shook her head and then said “didn’t you already pay...” as if that meant I couldn’t do anything about it and shouldn’t have even said anything and then she just stared at me and someone else came and told me that they separated the sides from my enchiladas which they’ve never done before. I usually don’t write bad reviews for places even if they deserve it because I work in the customer service industry and I know how difficult it can be sometimes, but I was really annoyed with my service because these people make good tips and could have got a $10 one from me but she had the nerve to disrespect me when I somehow paid $55 for 3 plates of bean enchiladas and I went out of my way to make sure I was cool about the mess up they made and I just said it was alright and left. Best Mexican food in Missoula! True, the bar is not set too high by the competition, but nonetheless this place is king.

I go here all the time for lunch, so I have lots of experience.

The service is always friendly, accurate, fast, etc. I need lots of water when I eat and they are usually refilling my glass before I need to ask. I don't think they've ever messed up an order or forgotten part of a meal for any of the people I've eaten here with.

The free salsa & chips are great. I love this salsa and wish I could figure out how to make it. I have tried many kinds of salsa, always trying new ones I find at stores. None of them are as good as Fiesta's. They will bring you more for free, usually without having to ask.

Even when it's fairly busy, I get my meal in 5 to 10 minutes. I have never had to wait more than 10 minutes. Often times it feels like under 5 minutes. They are fast and efficient.

Waitress was VERY rude with her eye rolls and smirky tone after I answered her question truthfully on “how everything was?” I was very polite in my response that I didn’t really like them. And I had no problem boxing them up & paying for them until she rolled her eyes a second time. Everyone else picked at their food. My son ate his burger and got a belly ache later. But who knows if it was the burger. My daughter picked at her blackened burnt edge & fried-on cheese nachos. My friend ordered something that came out fine enough though. So maybe it’s a roll of the dice kind of menu. Apologies, I don’t remember what she ordered. I usually don’t write reviews but the waitress was unfriendly to start with then just unnecessarily rude at the end, along with another staff member who was either the restaurant manager or owner. The ONLY friendly staff in the place was the hostess and a young lady pouring water. 1 Star for each employee that was kind. Maybe everyone else was just having a bad day.
