Violent, abusive ableist people!!!!
I was so excited when I first came in the store. Wow! Missoula has a brick and mortar vintage store! I was excited to peruse the pieces. I inquired about selling a pair of boots, very nice boots. The staff bluntly told me they do not deal with that and their boss does the buying. Fortunately, or so I thought, Chryss happened to be there and overheard and expressed interest quite cordially enough. I excitedly greet Chryss and compliment the selection. She thanked me and I told her about the boots. I was handed a card by staff with a phone number before Cryss had walked over. Before I left, Cryss told me to send a picture of the boots, and I said I could be right back with them. When I returned home to get the boots I selected some designer pieces and a couple nice leather jackets, among some other silken and woolen pieces, to bring by and offer, because the staff told me that the more I had the more they might be able to work with me on pieces. I excitedly dialed the business number and no one answered. Ok, that is totally fine I get it, I leave a friendly voicemail to let her know about the other pieces I want to run by. I drive back and I ask the guy at the counter if I should bring the pieces in. He says Cryss is no longer there. Ok, that's fine, I say, not worried, and he informs me about what has got Chryss busy and I thank him, I totally understand. I remark that I was surprised to not get an answer when I called the number on the card, given the business is open, but that it makes sense now and I totally understand being busy, I didn't call but once. I was informed that I was expected to create an Instagram account to deal with the business. I say oh, thank you, but I will not be getting an Instagram, is there any way you could give me an idea of what you are and arent interested in? The gentleman hesitates but tells me yes, he can give me an idea of what they might not want for sure. I smile and thank him, and proceed to get the pieces inside. Then Cryss shows up in back and a second employee informs us of her arrival, walking out of the back. The mostly friendly (up to this point) guy at the counter throws me a snarky look and walks back mumbling something about "let me go talk to her" I am confused but I patiently wait, excited to share the unique stuff I've got with someone who is interested That does not happen!! Cross comes storming out of the back and yells at me that she told me to send her a picture (still never called back?) and that this isn't the wya things are done. Shocked, I manage to compose myself and nod and i try explaining that I wasn't trying to cause any problems and I don't know what the problem is. I am incredibly confused at this point. She proceeds to scream in my face to not argue with her and that I need to do what she told me to do. Ok, so now I am upset. The confusion turned to fear as her and the male employee proceeded to berate me. Absolutely stunned, I pick up my things to leave the store and NEVER come back. I am handicapped from a serious accident so I am slow, physically and mentally, so I am not as hasty in my exit as I WISH I could have been. Cryss screamed at me about getting it out as fast as I could, she made SURE to let me know I wasn't getting out fast enough."less talking more walking" If I could have teleported, I would have. I told her that her conduct was unprofessional; to which cross said "I don't have to be" Confused and afraid from the aggression and hostility, I inform Cryss that she is harassing an individual with disabilities and I am leaving as fast as I can. The male and Cryss grab all my clothes and take them outside and throw them on the sidewalk. I was mortified. I have NEVER been AFRAID in my LIFE at a business until this place.
Heinous behavior and I have never been so firmly compelled to write an interview until now, if only to save any other persons with intellectual/physical disabilities from ever risking the treatment I received BTW making personal comments/threats like that is harassment,...
Read moreThis place is awful. The people are very rude and inconsiderate. Super full of themselves and very very disrespectful. I would never recommend stepping foot in their store. Owned by the Davis Brothers auction people. Super goofy, immature, low life group of degenerates. Wish I could give negative stars honestly. Dont support this business! Shouldnt be hard considering their prices are out the roof for mediocre goods:)
Hm you got me all wrong first of all. Not a teenager nor do I resell on ebay but that was an awesome effort you put in to try and hurt my feelings! Theres a reason why everyone at estate sales in the area talks very bad about you behind your back, and I mean everyone:) Keep backdooring with your little squad of rejects Im sure you guys will eventually learn about what youre picking up if you keep at it! I know it can be hard to play by the rules and be fair to the community you cherish so so much but with a little bit of self respect and discipline I believe you guys can figure it out! If you need advice on how to run a clean, respectable, and honest business feel free...
