
I paid $115 to adopt a kitten here, and it turned into a heartbreaking experience. The adoption process felt rushed and my application didn't seem as if it was carefully reviewed to consider whether I was a good match. From my experience, the process felt more focused on completing the adoption quickly than ensuring the kitten was a good fit.
The kitten I brought home, Malibu, was sick and poorly socialized. She bites and scratch, and had a swollen belly from worms because she had TAPEWORMS which were left all over my home!!! On top of that, she had an anal gland infection that smelled awful and if anyone spent time with her you can't miss it..... Vet claims a possible unknown virus caused her eyes to turn red. These were serious, obvious health issues.
This is all within a week of having her! I kept her for a month & realized she was not adopt ready. Unfortunately I was left with no choice but to return her. This was an incredibly traumatic experience that I would never wish on anyone seeking a fur baby. My heart is completely broken! If you are thinking about adopting from here please know you may be taking on a very sick animal and hundreds in medical costs.
EDIT: After I posted my review, Pet Supplies Plus informed the rescue they partner with, and the rescue then texted me directly on my personal cell phone. I didn't post from my main account with my real info so it was dug out I found this invasive, harassing, and highly unprofessional. I did not give permission for my personal information to be shared in this way, and future adopters deserve to know that this is how concerns are being handled. I called your store & was apparently told by a MANAGER that your replies are automatic and not real the real owner at all! The manager acted as if y'all had no connection! After calling back Sunday I was then told that no manager is available on weekends this is outrageous! Stop spreading the that the vet said nothing was wrong because this is not true she was given antibiotics because she had an infection with visible puss coming out after expression! I have the recipet and text that there was issues it seems you're literally copying and pasting whatever the rescue told you without actually looking further into the issue that you claim to not be apart of!! Leave me alone...

I wanted to provide some honest feedback about my recent experience with your grooming departmentānot as a negative review, but in hopes it can be heard constructively.
My dog has severe separation anxiety and, under veterinary guidance, requires medication before grooming appointments. While PetSmart and Petco have no issue with this and handle the situation with ease and professionalism, Iāve repeatedly encountered unnecessary pushback and rigid policy enforcement at your location.
I absolutely understand that policies exist for a reasonāespecially where pet safety is involved. But if Pet Supplies Plus wants to remain competitive with the larger chains, I believe itās time to revisit how these policies are applied in practice. A blanket approach doesnāt always serve the best interest of the pet, or the client.
All I ask is that your team show some flexibility and understanding, especially when clients are transparent and doing their part to keep their pets safe and calm. The current handling makes it feel unnecessarily difficult and, quite frankly, discouraging.

The following day, I got a call from an employee saying the food somehow made its way back to the store but Iād have to pay an extra $20 to have them attempt delivery again. Otherwise, I could drive to the store and pick up the order myself.
When I arrived at this store, nobody knew where my order was (Iām thinking the Uber driver sent it back to a different location). Lots of confused faces but everyone I interacted with was so incredibly understanding, helpful, and accommodating. They made sure I left the store with what I ordered, even though my original order was nowhere to be found. They gave me some coupons and a free sample of dog food for my pup. The staff was super apologetic and caring. Said theyād save me the time and would figure out where the other package got sent to. They also carried my order out to my car for me (30 lb bag of dog food) which was also a really nice gesture.
