im surprised by all the high ratings as my party and i hated the service here. all the fried foods were soggy and drenched in oil... the cooked items had no flavor... rolls were so bad we took one bite each and gagged... even the raw fish... how do you mess up yellowtail??? raw yellowtail, usually a house staple... the one good thing about the food was the Eel Robata. there were many of us and we ordered 14 orders and they brought us 9 and said the chefs wont cook anymore because it was a lot? their water stopped working so their soda machine was down... this server that wasnt ours took our cups for refills for drpepper and dietcoke and brought back both dietcokes, telling us there was no more drpepper so she just brought us both dietcokes. no explanation no questions what other beverages were available, just brought two dietcokes and said just drink it. she rolled her eyes so much at us i thought her eyes were going to pop out of her eye sockets. then she took back the dietcoke and brought back a cup of ice saying since we didnt want diet coke heres a cup of ice instead since they dont have drpepper... really? i was flabbergasted. the worst treatment we have ever, EVER received in our lives. this ruined our whole lunch and left such a bad taste in our mouths. she even switched the cups around saying what do you want me to do, we are out of drpepper so i refilled your cup with diet, so just drink it. mind you, we opted to pay the $33 for dinner even during lunch and also tipped 38% for our server but will never return and will never recommend this place. how do you not have running water during business hours? how do you wash your hands? your chefs? clean and wipe things down? we stopped eating at...

We came into this restaurant close to 9pm on a Saturday. There were other patrons there but we got seated immediately and were greeted promptly by our server, Joe. First I will talk about Joe, he was amazing. My fiance can be one to ask a million questions and for suggestions, also he orders almost the whole menu. Joe kept up with him. He learned it was the night we took our engagement photos and made the night even better with congratulations. Onto the food, it was amazing. 10/10. The sushi was great, not tooo many options but enough to fulfill everyone’s desires who come to AYCE sushi places. The hibachi steak in itself deserves an award. I stray away from ordering it at places because it’s always tough and lacking flavor. This steak was SO tender & had amazing flavor. The calamari was so good too, most places I’ve stopped ordering it as well because it typically is overcooked. We’ve been to many AYCE sushi places between here and San Antonio, even the sushi haya in San Antonio and this specific location has won us over. We don’t have to look for places any longer! The sushi was fresh and cold, without a doubt coming back for more! The portions are good sizes for both small and big parties and I can attest to this as a family of 5. Regardless of how much you order, the service was fast, with servers happy to accommodate to any of your requests or concerns! Hannah was our server and she was AMAZING! 😅 In conclusion, you will for sure gain an unforgettable experience and life changing meal after coming! 10/10 would DEFINITELY recommend.
