Went to First Watch in Sienna for breakfast. We were happy to be there as we looked forward to having a great meal. Greeted by our server, ordered our food. First, I have food allergies, so I was sure to request that they do not put in those items that I am allergic to. Simple and very easy request. Food came. Still looking forward to eating! First bite, hmm looks like there is something in here that I requested to avoid. My husband said the same for his meal. I called our waitress over to inform her that this is not what we ordered and the food allergies that I requested not to put in, were in the food. She apologized and went to tell the cook and manager. She comes back and says they would like to verify the contents of my meal and that she needed to see. APPALLED. We both opened what was supposed to be an egg omlette but was really a thin sheet of egg with contents put inside of the cooked egg, and showed her the food allergies. With that she took the plate to return to the kitchen. The manager Kat (Cat) came out to apologize. She stated how sorry she was. I then said, this was my first and last time coming to this restaurant. In this industry, YOU NEVER SEND A WAITRESS BACK TO EXAMINE THE FOOD!!!!! Golden rule of the industry completely broken by this manager and restaurant! Never have I ever been so INSULTED. I can refer to this as RACIAL RACIAL PROFILING. I stressed to the manager Kat (Cat), that was something I never NEVER been subjected to as a customer at any restaurant and that she NEVER do that to ANYONE! Imagine the LAWSUIT I now hold. Not to mention, she did not remove the meal from my ticket right away, nor did she state that it would be removed. In asking for my bill, the waitress stated everything we ordered was on was on the bill and if I wanted to pay for it. I said, "I will not pay for something that I did not order". That should have been an automatic removal from the manager. Not me having to say another word. She went to the back to get the approval from the manager to remove it and then corrected the bill. Also, the pancakes... Lemon Ricotta, should not be a plain pancake with lemon pudding on top!!!! After we left what is to me now.... the LAST Watch, I went across the street to Whataburger and got a hot meal. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS restaurant. You will be racially profiled. This rating...
Read more“Issue Still Not Resolved” I am disappointed to report that I have yet to receive any response from First Watch management.
I am writing to express my concern regarding a recent experience at your Sienna location on 02-16-2025. As long-time patrons of First Watch's Champion Forest location, my family and I were excited to visit the new Sienna restaurant and introduce guests to First Watch for their first time. However, our experience fell significantly short of expectations.
Our server, Kalyn, initially took our drink orders. Having enjoyed the Morning Meditation drink many times before, I recommended it to our guests. When the drinks arrived, I noticed my serving was noticeably smaller than my guest's, served in a tiny cup rather than the standard size. Upon inquiring about this discrepancy, Kalyn was instructed by a coworker to serve it in a smaller cup.
Kalyn also felt weird and offered to consult with Manager. Manager Kat’s response was both surprising and disappointing. Rather than addressing our concern professionally, she stated that the Champion Forest location had been "serving us wrong." Her approach was dismissive and her tone was inappropriate, particularly in front of our guests who were experiencing First Watch for the first time.
I understand the importance of consistent service standards and professional customer interactions. This experience was not representative of the First Watch brand we have come to know and trust.
I respectfully request that management review this incident and address:
Upon considering a visit to this new location, we decided to join the wait list. The wait time noted about 45 min to 75min. Okay, cool. That would give us time to wrap up an errand and arrive.
We arrived within that time frame, checked in, received a text within a few moments indicating that we're next in line to be seated. Cool.
We're seated. We were finally greeted 15 to 20 mins later.
Due to that delay, we decided to place our order for our drinks (tea and water) and our food (2 trifectas, both with waffles, one with scrambled egg and sausage the other well-done egg with bacon.
We waited for over an hour, be mindful our waitress did check on us and continue to attempt to give updates. Our waitress also mentioned that the Manager would soon come to visit our table to give an update (Okay, thanks? Not sure how that will help with the arrival of our order.) The manager didn't arrive initially. We ended up flagging down another waiter to summon the manager, which he did.
The manager came floating through the restaurant carrying my order (trifecta, waffle, scrambled egg, and sausage link), not both orders.
She went on to explain how backed up the kitchen was with orders . (Backed for an hour is quite the disappointment.)
The food was cold and undesirable.
She then returned to the kitchen to grab the other order (trifecta: waffle, well done egg, bacon strips):cold as well.
The syrup that had been placed on our table earlier in our visit seemed to be warmer than the meals we ordered.
Although we were compensated for the service (or lack there of), one must confess that we will NOT be returning to this new location...
