I am highly upset with the associate at Best Buy. I came in to do an exchange on an Apple Watch series 2 that my husband bought for out anniversary. Nothing is wrong with the watch it just the don't like the color. I was told to standd at the Apple area and will be helped. I notice a lot of associate walking around including this lady associate. After standing there for a good 15 minutes, my husband called out to a guy associate and asked to be help. The guy say he will find someone. The person he called was the lady associate we saw earlier that was just standing around. She came up to us and we explained to her that we are exchanging a Apple Watch series 2 and will like to see a mesh band watch. She didn't show us the watch but instead tell me the price. I turn to my husband and he said he like the silver and black one so I turn to her and say can I see the silver and black. But again instead of bring the watch she is telling me the price. By now I'm upset. I continue to ask her if she have anything with all silver and she no. The only one is the silver and white and price is so and so. Still upset cause I feel all she doing is making me feel I can't afford this danm watch. So I ask her after discussing with my husband regarding the color we finally decided the silver and black. So I told her we will take the silver and black she again stated the prices and added "you do know the price, right?" Madly I say yes and told her I already told you I'm here to exchange so that mean I already know the prices and paid for it. She just walked off and didn't said anything. She didn't said ok I will be right back or let me glad the for you. We notice she went to a wall with cabinet ( I guess where the watch is kept). I was then over and beyond mad. First, she talk me like we can afford this damn watch and second was so rude. I was so mad I request for a refund at customer service and I promise I will not be walking into...
Read moreBeing a frequent BestBuy customer, I am very disappointed at the level of service I received today. What can be only describe as a nightmare experience started with a trip to this store to buy a Samsong S10 phone. After waiting for a few minutes, I was told that the SIM card that is compatible with the S10 was not in stock and I would need to go to a local Sprint store to get it. My local Sprint store is approximately 25 minutes away! So after about an hour round trip and paying $10.99 for the SIM card pack, I came back to BestBuy. This time a different saleswoman told me that the phone with activation would be $699 despite the fact that it specifically said $499 on their own BestBuy website. Now, this was exactly the same phone, same options, same service, same upgrade; $499 online but $699 in store. They said they have no way of honoring the $499 price or even price matching it. The saleswoman claimed that the $499 price is only for new line of service, not for the upgrade like I wanted. I adamantly told her that it's $499 for either new line or upgrade and that I know people who paid $499 for an upgrade. After 30 minutes, I just ordered the phone for $499 online. But now I have to wait until the online order is processed and I would need to pick it up at "Pick Up". That turned out to be almost 4 hours of waiting! They had EVERYTHING in stock including the SIM card that I was initially told to pick up myself! So after I waited 4 hours, I finally made my third trip to the store to pick up the phone which I ended up paying $499 for and it came with the SIM card! This was a nightmarish experience. Even if they couldn't honor the $499 price in store, they sent me on an hour errand to buy a SIM card then had me wait 4 hours until pick...
Read moreThe only time I go to Best Buy anymore is when I’m with a friend who wants to look around. He rarely buys anything either. I use to shop there but the prices are too high once in awhile you can find something but that a rarity It was always difficult to get help when you need it so few people working. You better have an idea of what you want and need some couldn’t help me until they found someone to help but had to wait on them to finish. A sale that should take 15 minutes could go over an hour. Don’t get me started with the so called geek squad. I got tangled up with them and no one could figure out the problem or explain why it would do what it did. Example I could get a video to work if I tried one way but the other way it wouldn’t. I was told just do it the way it worked. That didn’t explain why and could be the he beginning of something larger. I can’t remember exactly how I found out but one was working on the 32 and the other 64. The system was changing and the 64 wouldn’t work until completed. That they should have know but alas no S last time I did shop was about 2 years ago I was looking for a new tv. They had what I wanted but the price was too much. Well I kept looking found the same brand but bigger screen at two other places for $150 less. Same with movies most can be gotten at others stores for less. So if you don’t mind paying more and taking longer then go. To the store as for me I’ll...
