I have been going to this Starbucks 4 days a week for the past month since I just started working in the same shopping area. My experience up until today has been fine, the drinks are fine, haven’t eaten there so I can’t speak for the food and my experience with the employees up until now has been ok.
Today the treatment I received by one of the workers ensured I will not be returning. I’ll go out of my way and take my business elsewhere. I typically go sit on the patio when I get off work and eat my lunch, as I’ve witnessed many other people do. Once I finish my lunch I’ll sit and scroll on my phone for a while before heading inside for a tea and returning to the patio while I wait for my ride home. I have never had an issue doing this until today. Today I grabbed lunch from firehouse, walked over to the patio and sat down to eat as I have done for a month now. I was waiting for my roommate to meet me for coffee once I was done. As soon as I bit into my sandwich a blond headed employee with glasses and a tattoo sleeve (this was my first time seeing them work here so idk a name) opened the door and told me I needed to buy something or leave with the most hateful tone. I told them I eat my lunch here almost every day and I always buy a drink once I’m done. They went back into the store and I finished my food and left. I understand not wanting people to loiter but I’m a regular customer at this store, if they’d have bothered to simply wait 15 minutes instead of being pushy and rude I’d still frequent this store but as of now I’ll be taking my business to...
Read moreTo be honest, This review is hard to write as I have gone to this store for almost 3 years , 3-4 times a week for my office , getting about 4-6 drinks at a time. Never had any issues with customer service , just the occasional drink remake but when its busy , that is common for bigger orders , nothing ever serious. They handled everything with such care i felt truly at home.
Recently though, about a month ago, out of the blue I was accused of trying to get free drinks and that it would not be tolerated, I have never asked for anything for free. Despite being hurt and upset by the accusation, I didn't want any issues , especially with how often I come to the store, i simply apologized to the manager and tried to make it right.
Since that Day every time i go in to that store, i am shunned, ignored, and when they do have to acknowledge , they are very short and rude and half the time wont even look at me. Not to mention Every, Single, Drink I have ordered has been comically made wrong, including the last drink I got from this store, in the picture, the Matcha Frappacino I always get and love the taste of had so much Matcha it was bitter and grainy and all around undrinkable. I want to believe it was an accident but they weren't busy, or short staffed at the time, the lady who made it has made it several times in the past perfectly. I just cant ignore this anymore.
I didn't realize how bad it had gotten till i went to the store on airport blvd next to the mail and they were so friendly and nice, just like Government...
Read moreI am deeply disappointed by the discriminatory treatment my father experienced at your location today. He drove through the Starbucks drive-thru in a different vehicle than usual, one with a Palestinian license plate, and was shockingly denied service. When he calmly went inside to ask why, he was told by an employee named Chris that he was being refused due to allegedly throwing trash in the parking lot and being rude to staff—neither of which is true.
Instead of addressing a specific incident with evidence, Chris directly referenced the “Palestinian plate” as a marker of identity, which raises serious concerns about racial profiling and national origin discrimination. Under Title II of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, businesses open to the public cannot deny service based on race, color, religion, or national origin. Additionally, Starbucks’ own Global Human Rights Statement and Customer Service Policy stress the importance of inclusion and nondiscrimination.
My father has been a loyal customer for 13 years. Today, he was humiliated based on a false accusation and a prejudiced assumption tied to his identity. This deserves accountability, and I urge Starbucks to investigate this incident and hold employees like Chris responsible for...
