My initial experience in the store was great, the floor representative was quite patient and helpful as I made my purchasing decisions. But six weeks had gone by without a delivery, and I was getting pretty impatient. Buying, and receiving, new furniture in your home is something exciting to anticipate! I wanted to call the store to see what was going on, but you can't do that. It's a service switchboard in Georgia. Anyway, the rep on the other end of the line said that my furniture had JUST come in. Another delay, and in calling them back in Georgia, it turned out that the rep here in Mobile had written my number down wrong, and I wasn't getting any notifications. I tried to schedule the delivery time again, but that's impossible, they can only give you a date, not a time. Obviously, working a 9 to 5, that gonna have to be a Saturday, a couple of Saturdays from now. Two months after the initial visit. In the middle of all of this, Wells Fargo (who does their financing), sent me a bill statement. A bill, and no furniture yet. Last week, in frustration, I told the rep on the phone that I wanted to cancel the order and stop this agreement with WF. The rep told me I could cancel the order, but dealing with Wells Fargo was something I was gonna have to do on my own. Which, without Ashley backing me up, I think we all know how that's gonna go. Anyway, I respect and appreciate all the positive reviews, and again, I did enjoy the shopping experience. But if there's a problem, Ashley just goes totally dumb. No store contact via telephone (which could have prevented a lot of this), not a lot of customer service with their Customer Service line, and complete inability to think or act outside of the box when something goes wrong. I'm sure at this point I'll get this furniture and use it (since I really don't have a choice at this point), but I'm certainly not getting anymore furnishings with them, and will not be recommending them to any of my friends...
Read moreMy experience at Ashley was nothing short of AMAZING!! Cody was our sales associate. He was patient and kind and didn’t behave like sales associates at car places even though this was a furniture place and I appreciated that. I was in with my daughter. Upon entrance Cody came up to us, introduced himself professionally and asked what we were looking for. We told him and he took us around to several living room sets. The first one was pretty much love at first site(Boothbay). However, after showing us we told him we needed to go back to our previous place and look at our other option one last time. He was polite, kind and gave us his card and the review card. He did not push us and I appreciated that.
We entered back into Ashley after we decided Boothbay is what we wanted. We asked for a cost and he was finishing up lunch. We said we would wait for him. My daughter and I went to Boothbay and sat patiently. Up walk Meagan , the manager. She is AWESOME as well. We told her we were waiting for Cody because we wanted to purchase Boothbay. She sat down with us to figure out the BEST total cost and we talked not only about furniture but a couple of random things as well. Meagan was also polite, kind and professional, not pushy. I appreciate that so much. Cody then walks up from finishing lunch and it was a DONE DEAL.
My family and I are super excited about our new furniture and we can’t wait until it gets delivered. Thank you Cody and Meagan for a JOB WELL DONE!!

Read moreVery pleased with how smooth the buying/financing process was with Ashley of Mobile home furnishing consultant, Thomas Wilson! I was in a hurry to find new furniture due to moving suddenly. I was not expecting to walk out same day with a new bedroom suit scheduled to be delivered a couple weeks later. I cannot complain about the prices, very reasonable and the financing helped me afford everything I was looking for! I was very indecisive, going back and forth between a couple different sets and Mr. Wilson was very patient and took time to explain why each one was great. He was very welcoming and personable, I do not think I would have found the right bedroom set for me if it wasn’t for his excellent customer service. I ended up changing my mind last minute with adding a night stand and thanks to Mr. Wilson it was not a hassle. My furniture ended up being delivered one week later and I cannot be any happier with how it looks. From the minute I walked into Ashley, the delivery drivers and a call back to ensure I was satisfied with everything shown me they truly care about their customers. I will definitely be returning to Ashley furniture in the future!
