Very BAD shopping experience Store 688, in Mobile AL Manager Name Connie Mosley

Two weeks ago- The checkout person did not give a cup after it was paid for, may be by mistake. Called the store manager from home, and she promised to ship it by USPS. She took my address. She did not send the cup even after two weeks.

When we went to the store today she did not even apologize, she did not acknowledge the mistake by her checkout counter person did. She did not even bothered to clarify why the cup was not sent to my home address. She just gave me the cup from a back room.

The store manager and the associates seem very comfortable with their jobs and least bothered about any sort of customer satisfaction.

When I wanted to return the cup, the manager and her team said they can not pull the electronic receipt by phone number or email. Either they are too dumb or the company has an ancient legacy computer system or maybe simple laziness.

Next, I tried to exchange the cup with an exactly priced another cup. They needed my drivers license. When I declined to provide my drivers license and I told that they have to do it without my drivers license as the mistake was from their end, the manger showed us her face as if we did the crime. Even though the store is very small and a little congested. I just love to purchase home decor from home goods due to the quality, price, and limited pieces. I will never go into a friend's home and find anything that I have purchased from Homegoods. I love the reaction that I get when friends and family visit and admire something and ask where it came from because I know that I purchased the last 1 or set. I tell friends all the time home goods is the way to go. If your throwing a party or baby shower and need nice, high quality, cake stands, serving tray etc, please do not sleep on this store. Usually absolutely love this store, but today I bought a piece of furniture (I looked over it several times in the store to make sure nothing was wrong with it) and after buying it, the workers insisted they would get one of the guys to load it for me. Without asking the guy loads the furniture, fabric side down and slides it in, which got dirt all over the top of it. Very disappointed that it got tore up before even leaving the parking lot and that the guy did not ask which way to put it in.
