I found myself in a very hectic, chaotic, and sad time in my life. My husband, who had been under hospice and skilled nursing care took a very sudden and drastic turn and passed away suddenly. At the very same time I was moving from our much more expensive apartment to a smaller unit more suitable for 1 person. Our 3 pets had died over the preceding 10 months, also. To make matters even more complicated, I discovered that my fabulous DABAKAROV bracelet that my husband had given to me for Motherâs Day a few years ago, had been stolen from itâs hidden location in my previous apartment
I took a very deep breath and included contacting the insurance company and police and management of the apartment as part of all other tasks I had to plan. I was between houses, planning a funeral, and filing claims, to mention only a few tasks.
The insurance company asked, finally, for ONE MIRE DOCUMENT. That document was a Replacement Value Certificate. Their jewelry contact could not supply one and they wanted me to procure one.
So now we have Hurricane Ida arriving full force on the Gulf Coast. I did not know what to do to start to get this document so I finally said âGo to Goldsteinâsâ. Start there. They have always been so helpful!
Angela greeted me and understood my situation. She immediately was able to access the purchase information from those years before! She made a phone call, explained that she would pursue with DABAKAROV getting that Replacement Certificate and get back to me. I was not optimistic because of the amount of time that had passed and the uniqueness of that bracelet. She said it could take a week or more but she would personally track the information down and let me know as soon as possible.
The next day, Angela phoned me! Between Angela and the Good Lord, she had contacted DABAKAROV and had generated the document I needed! My husband had made a good investment with a jewelry store with an impressive reputation. The value had increased. I now have the certificate I needed for the insurance company to complete the claim. I can put another big check mark and put this piece of my journey behind me.

If only I knew my experience with them later will be so emotionally and mentally traumatizing, I'd have never stepped foot in that store. I had insisted I'd rather patronize a local business rather than purchase online contrary to what my boyfriend wanted. In the store, I chose a ring that was in the showcase. It wasn't my size so I was told they'd order one in my size, also the diamond for the ring was not kept in the store so i had to wait for over a month for it to come in store. Unfortunately my wedding was called off and so I decided to return the rings for a refund 6 days after purchase was made and three days since receiving it from the store. There is a 15 day return policy for a full refund. I was denied a full refund because as the store owner stated; " Its bad for my business" and offered a 50% refund instead, which i refused. I don't understand why I should bargain for a refund I'm entitled to. When I insisted to be treated fairly and given my refund,the store owner Richard Frank Jr, made comments suggesting bias and racism against my color and country of origin.Insinuating I'm ignorant and stupid because I'm a foreigner from another country and had an accent. I have never been treated like this in any other store environment and urge any other potential customers to beware and steer clear of this rude and racist business. I find Goldstein's store profession and ethics to be unsatisfactory and many other reviews will state the same. Today I have formally lodged a complaint with the Mobile commerce department and will be taking Goldstein's operator...
   Read moreI love Goldsteinâs, o have only been a customer three times total, but it does not matter if your spending hundreds plus, or a mere twenty two dollars, they treat you like your royalty. Angela has helped me on my two most recent visits, one just a purchase of a little over seven hundred, but she listened and understood how much that purchase met and she worked with me to make it happen in a very Speical way. Most recent I was in the store looking for a replacement chain, sterling silver for my granddaughter, who has struggles with speical needs, Angela found the perfect little affordable chain to fit our needs, and even added a little piece of chain, so she could adjust it on her neck, didnât charge us for her quick fix of placing the small charm on the necklace, that met so much to my granddaughter, I only paid for the small chain and we were out the door, as I was leaving she offered me a water for the road. That is such wonderful service, the kind you donât get anywhere else. That charm was left at another store for over two weeks, just to be placed on a chain, when it wasnât ready for my granddaughterâs flight, the jewelry store had a hard time finding our ticket and never seemed to mind, because we were only spending less then fifty. If ever I spend thousands, and I hope to do that one day soon, I will spend it at Goldstein âs. Thank Goldsteinâs for caring about the person and not the dollar amount, and a special thank you to Angela, a fine representative of the Goldsteinâs name....
