My niece wanted to get a "pickled radish" or something like that from the Asian food store. Her mom and I went in with her. While walking down the first isle, I noticed some wafer cookies. A whole pile of them in many flavors. They had a price on a package of wafer cookies at 1 for $.79, but when I got to the register he charged me $1.79. I took it back in and asked what was the price because I believed I was over charged. He showed me the 1 for $.79 and said that meant a $1.79. He and another guy who was bagging bread without gloves began speaking to one another in their native language and there were others who had come up to the register to "check out" and look.
