I decided to stop and pick up Popeyes Chicken for dinner for my husband and I as my errands and doctors visits had me running behind getting home. When I ordered I asked for specific pieces of chicken in the $10 for the 5 piece meal. I repeated my order choices 1 or 2 times to cashier as she seemed distracted or didn't know what I was asking for. I paid for the upgrade for a substituted breast. The cashier walked back to the cook and it took her a couple of times to explain my order. Three more customers with 2 more people together came in and ordered regular to very large orders. All three were given there orders and left before I finally asked about my order. The cook had it sitting behind her station and had forgotten about it. When she gave it to me I asked if it was the pieces I asked for and named the pieces I ordered. The cook replied yes they are. I nicely explained and even said I'm sure it is but I just wanted to make sure as I had received the wrong items on my last visit and just wanted to double check to make sure and not go home with the wrong items. Well, I checked BUT evidently not well enough. When I got home I was supposed to have 2 wings, 2 breast, and a thigh. When I checked at Popeyes I saw the 2 breast and the thigh and what I thought was a wing laying on top of another wing. It was NOT 2 wings, it was one wing laying on top of a drumstick. Well, I thought there was too much traffic, too much hassel, and a headache to drive back as it had been on my way home when I went there to puchase dinner. Actually there is a new Popeyes franchise closer to my home, one street past my home. This is the SECOND time I have paid for an upgrade and received the WRONG order at the Popeyes I visited tonight. It is the one that is difficult to navigate in the parking lot on the corner of Airport Blvd. and Azalea Rd. I realize, yes once shame on you, twice shame on me. That's for sure. I will not be returning to that particular Popeyes Chicken location. And you can bet your sweet bippy I will DOUBLE check any order I get from any Popeyes franchise, and probably double check all my orders from any franchise I use from now on. Also, I'm honestly not saying this because of the mixed up order but that was the hottest Popeyes Chicken I ever had in my life. I had to tear it apart and dip only the breast filet in ketchup and drink milk to cool my tongue. Somehow that batch was extra extra spicy. I honestly promise all the information in this review is 100% true. Perhaps this Popeyes has better days, but not on my last 2 visits. There will not be a 3rd visit made by me. I'm so sorry to write such a poor review, but I am only relaying true facts. If you visit this Popeyes franchise I hope everything is good for you. God Bless...
Read moreIf I could give 0 stars I would. Worst popeyes I think I have ever been to. I'm here from texas with my husband for a business trip. While he was at work I took my kid here. We went through the drive thru and the lady was rude and rushing us thru our order the entire time. As I get to the window she was rolling her eyes and just continued to be rude. I paid for my food and we got back to our hotel. It was about an hour before the closed. The chicken was old and cold like they had turned the warmers off. Our sides were only half full. I asked for mild and got spicy chicken. I have a stomach disorder to where I can't eat anything spicy or I would have to go to the hospital for swollen and bleeding intestines. We tried calling several times to see if they could resolve the issue and we would either get no answer or they would answer and hang up. I will not bring my business back here for the rest of our trip. I hope the management can do something to fix this because I have to say this was the worst. I dont usually do google reviews but seeing how I couldnt get any help from the establishment others...
Read moreI'm giving 1 star only because zero was not an option. We ordered through GRUBHUB a couple of weeks ago and were told it would be an hour. The kids weren't home yet so that was not a problem. Three different drivers went to pick up our order and it was never ready. After we had been waiting 2 hours for our order that was supposed to be ready in one hour my husband contacted GRUBHUB and they sent another driver to find out what was going on. When she got there, she was informed that they weren't filling our order. We had ordered $70.00 worth of food. I had tried to call the restaurant to find out what the holdup was on our order before we contacted GRUBHUB but they wouldn't answer the phone. They are very unprofessional at this location. I may not ever go back to Popeyes after this experience, but I know for sure, this location will never get a penny...
