Actually rating -zero for ashley outlet in Monroe at Pecanland Mall location. The furniture was ordered and three months later it was never delivered. After canceling the order, three months after that the amount was never credited back. A total of 6 months no furniture no credit. When we went into the store the counter person had a decent attitude at first until she made the mistake of charging the account AGAIN while in the process of crediting the account. A complete cluster of horrible events. Not once did she apologize but instead called the accounting dept. to help correct the issue, which is fine, but once I asked her to place the call on speaker she placed her hand towards me and huffed and puffed as if she was blowing out candles and told me to wait and told the person on the phone that she didnât know why but I was wanting her to place the call on speaker. Excuse me, itâs my business to hear youâve overcharged our account. Once off the phone she continued to fiddle and ruffle with papers yet no apology for anything but ecxuses why we never received the furniture and that we knew it would be late. But 3 months late! And an additional 3 months for a credit. And then an additional $500+ charge when you should credit an account. There was ample time while I stood in the store to apologize for never receiving furniture that was paid in full and charged twice for, there was ample time in store to explain why it was taking 3 months to issue a refund, there was ample time in store to apologize for charging me the total price of the furniture again instead of a credit. Instead of the blatant disregard and unconcerning attitude from the counter person even though the issue was created by ashley outlet employee. This employee then has the audacity to follow me outside and at my vehicle begin to tell me why she was frustrated. Excuse me. Thank you but no thank you. Once you handed me my paperwork in the store and gave me no apology for your bullying and overpowering attitude for YOUR mistake in front of other customers and employee, how dare you approach me at my car. I am not sure who trained this employee but clearly there needs to be a class on customer service, work place attitude, and concernment for the public. Only fair. Excuse the typos. This lady and her attitude was horrible to us. And the apology you gave me AFTER you walked away from my car back into the store, after you talked over ME explaining how YOU disrespected and screwed us over, fell on the ground where you spewed it. Never ever will we do any business with ashley outlet or itâs affiliate. Iâll sleep on the floor and eat off cow pies before I even dare supply them with my hard earned money....
   Read moreWent couch shopping for the first time and left very happy. Everyone there felt incredibly personable and was very helpful. I ended up picking out my couch, cocktail table, two side tables, and the perfect dining table set. So excited for my furniture!
Update: I received the delivery (which felt like forever because I was excited and bc I had no furniture and was sitting on the floor). The delivery took about 3 and a half weeks to schedule (I was told I would have all of my furniture delivered in two-three weeks) so it wasnât too long after I was quoted. I was told someone would reach out to me by the 22nd so when I hadnât heard from them by the 23rd I called them to schedule the delivery.
The delivery itself wasnât organized which is not the driverâs fault. They were great. I had noticed that the checkered flag on the map ( a link they send when your driver has started their route) wasnât set for my address. I called Ashleyâs to ask and was told the guys were on the way and that everything was fine. The next time I looked at the map, they were back at Ashleyâs before they called to ask me for my address. Turns out the address wasnât completed, whoever put my address down completely forgot to include the street name. Once the drivers got to my place, they came in and asked me where I wanted everything. I gave them the rundown and they told me that the tables I ordered were dropped off at a previous address bc the stickers that were slapped on them were for the wrong order. The guys unloaded the couch and chairs from the truck and said they were going to pick up the tables from the other address and bring them to my place. They were super friendly and very quick with the installation process.
Conclusion: In-store experience: 10/10 Scheduling: 4/10 Organization: 3/10 Delivery: 7/10 Customer...
   Read moreIâm only giving this a 5 star rating because of Natasha @ the Ashley Outlet in Monroe, La, for saving the day & sale⌠when I firstly walked into Ashley, the main side, Mike was on the phone cackling and never greeted or acknowledged me, in which I thought was strange because he was facing the entrance door looking straight at it, so surely he couldnât have missed me or so I thought but another thing that I found odd, was that shortly after, another customer came through the door, Mikeâs phone call ended and this customer was warmly greeted, now I would have took that Mike would have found me and asked if I needed assistance be that I was there first but sadly to say, he didnât bother, hey, who knows maybe it was one of his relatives, an old high school friend, college buddy someone who heâs hung out with before⌠sisters boyfriend or whatever to make him totally over look me and give this customer top tier service, this was strike one, the second strike was when Cheryl, approached me with an abrupt and not very inviting attitude, I would explain it as rude but others say thatâs just her personality, is that appropriate when working in customer serviceâŚ.my answer would be no but hey, what do I know as a âcustomerâ, so shortly after all that debacle, I walked over to the Outlet side and was assisted by Natasha with professionalism/knowledge and made my sale seemed as if it mattered ⌠so if it werenât for Natasha, the sale would have been lost completely. So, thank you Natasha for making my experience satisfying and a reason to return with future purchases...
