As Targets go, this one is not quite up to par. They're always out if something I need (notably Ever Spring daily shower cleaner, which I LOVE, and they're always either out or I buy the last one).
This time, the only registers that appeared to be open were the self-checks. I went to the self-check and was buying alcohol, and it said an associate would be coming over to help me and turned on the blinking light. I saw one associate wandering around not looking at the registers, and two more standing at registers that appeared to be closed, chatting with each other and on their phones, completely ignoring customers. After a few minutes I raised my hand and caught the eye of one and finally got her to come over. She needed help from someone else to handle it, and then they both just walked away without a word, leaving my alcohol sitting on the scanner. I had to ask them if they were done and I could put it in my bag. With the starting pay at Target being more than 50% above the minimum wage in my area, I would expect a higher quality of service from their employees than what I received...
Read moreI had an issue with the price of a product and they did not offer to resolve it at all.
It was only a few dollars in difference, but the amount is not the point. I took a picture of the product showing they were all stocked under a price tag displaying a cheaper price than at the register.
They did not offer to price match it. They scanned it on their handheld device and said "oh it's for a sale that hasn't started yet, so I can't price match it."
It is not the customers job to put price labels out, that is the job of the retail workers. If a sale has not started yet for a product, don't put the price label adjustment out, that is simple.
I have worked retail before and in these situations the customer has always been given the lower price as dictated by the shelf tag.
Awful customer service skills, when I figure out the name of the cashier I will...
Read moreI’ve lived in different states and been to Targets all over the U.S. — not trying to flex, but this is hands-down the worst-run Target I’ve ever seen.
First thing, the pickup girl outside is out here arguing with people for parking in pickup spots ….. even if you’re literally there to pick something up, but God forbid your husband also runs inside to grab something. She legit started screaming at us.
Then you go inside, and it’s chaos. The women’s lingerie section looks like it exploded underwear thrown all over the floor, shelves in total disarray, nothing even remotely neat.
And the icing on the cake? I’ve come here four separate times for a specific item. Every single time, the app says they have 2–3 in stock. Every single time, I get there and they have none. It’s run like a bad Walmart…except Walmart actually has...
