Let me just start by say the manager Yen was the best she really help the situation as much as she could. I was so mad I have to say this when I say that was the worse dining experience I have ever had that is still not enough we was having a family night and we decided to go eat at mighty crab because we took the kids to Chuck E. Cheese we come in and it was like we wasn’t welcome the host was about to skip us before I stepped in and then he told me to hold on and went and talked to a waiter and then sat us we waited and waited and waited for like 20-25 minutes and the waiter kept walking by us we still hadn’t got our drinks my nephew and daughter where hungry still no one I had to get up and I found Yen and she come and got out drink orders she brought them out and the tea was sour so my brother in law asked for another drink her waited a minute on it then the waiter who’s name we don’t know cause he never came to the table bought us our food and snatched the ticket away from me he said I need that so I know what’s what and then Yen came back to the table and brought us what we need he walked up with another manager and she said who’s our waiter I said no one but they said him but he act like we ain’t sitting here then brought our food out and never brought our babies yen had to go get it poor baby he gonna smart off and say fried food take longer that’s why they still haven’t got they food and wanna lie and say he wasn’t our server when I know for a fact he was he just never came to the table apparently he was having a bad night cause he had a walk out but he missed out on a 30 dollar tip cause he was judging thinking he wasn’t gonna get a tip if he would of took care of us he would of found out that we our waitresses and we know they have good days and bad days but you don’t take it out on the next table we could have blessed you with the price of walk out but instead you wanted to act like us as a guest didn’t matter I will never be back and if I do I’ll make sure I don’t get his section whoever he...
Read moreVery glad that I googled and found this place on my way from Monroe to Delhi. I was very glad to see that they had sit down dining and not scared of c19. First thing I will say is a friendly staff greeted me, the place smelled wonderful, and I loved the paper on the tables knowing that the table was clean. The food was really a four-star, it was good, delicious, hot, nice presentation when they bring it out in a bag full of steam then pour it onto your plate so you can smell the spices in the steam, but this restaurant received a five-star because of my waitress named JuJu. She was fun, energetic made me smile and checked on me constantly. I got the Thursday night special which was shrimp and crab legs, sad to say it only had one piece of corn and four little potatoes but came out piping hot and medium spicy just like I asked. They bring out a bucket with a bib hand wipes and the table has a lot of napkins... Cuz you're going to need them. I left there very full, very satisfied and happy that I had a fun waitress. It's not often especially because of c19 having personal fun weight staff so remember if you stop on in, ask for juju you won't regret it.. be sure and mention the motorcycle Texan said hello. So I will say over $30 for just me to eat and drinking water is a little on the pricey side, but it's not often that I eat this type of food so for me it's worth the splurge especially since I got...
Read moreY'all. Y'all! This is where it's at! We opted to sit at the bar, as the table they took us to seemed so remote. Boy am I glad we did. Where else can you keep up with all the goings-on in a restaurant other than the bar. We discovered the manager was about to go on vacation, and she had been training two new bartenders. Jacob was our bartender/server, and Talia? was the other new bartender. The manager (tell me your name for heavens' sake!) was teaching them about how to manage the bar. She even let us sample a few of the drinks they were making in order to get our input. There was an absolute feeling of family in this place. In the hour or so we were there, we felt like we had been going to The Mighty Crab for years. We were on our way back to Alabama after helping our daughter move to Austin, Texas. I am so glad that Monroe, LA is about halfway between us and our daughter. We will DEFINITELY be stopping back in here EVERY time we visit our daughter!
Oh, I forgot to mention, that our Seafood Platters were absolutely incredible.
We like to sit at the bar often in restaurants, even though we consider ourselves to be the "old folks". This was one of our favorite times to sit at the bar. Everyone we encountered seemed to love working here. (If you don't, please let me know! I might just apply for your position! ;-) ) The manager has a great personality.
Hope your vacation was a great...
