If there was a negative star thats what this establishment would get. I have never dealt such poor customer service. Im not talking the smiles and giggles in your face im talking about INCOMPETENCE!!! I went and bought a 75" TV a mount and paid for geek squad...i also bought a cellphone that day and was going back for a laptop and a few other items. The items were there in stock and i was ready to take it home. The associate told me its best i dont take it home since im opting for installation, let geek squad bring it. I insisted i can take it today but he insisted i shouldnt. So i didnt, turns out he just didnt want to bother with getting it from the back and loading etc... A couple of weeks later geek squad comes without a tv. Dropped off a Mount. And explained the tv was out of stock. Ok so when will you have it...on the 21st. I wont be in the state at that point. And the nearest store to pick it up is 2 hours away. That means 4 hours with 2 kids. I asked for them to deliver and they asked for $80. Normally it wouldnt be an issue but after calling 4 times and having this escalated but no one called back...i wanted customer service addressed. Dont call them because apparently you cant reach the store. No. You have to drive back to them. Another 1 hour 2 hours both ways. I would never ever buy from them again. But i also suggest, always take home the item. Dont wait. Because even though i paid a couple of thousands right then right there....they didnt tag a tv already sold knowing they were short on inventory. Its been over a month. I still dont have a tv that i already paid for and they already have their money. Also, no one will address the issue unless you drive back out to talk to them. The same store that messed up the order. Im so over it. And ready to cancel the whole order but we bought the tv on sale. Now im stuck. People you talk to are incompetent. My email was wrong. I never got my reciept either. I asked the first two times for them to correct it. It wasnt done. They just fixed it today...smh. how much longer till they call me or email to address the issue. Read moreI rarely feel the need to write a negative review. It's usually easier to practice a little acceptance and go about my day. Unfortunately my experience with Monroe's Best Buy has it where the day seems to never be over. I first purchased a side by side Whirlpool refrigerator which was supposed to have the ice and water connected upon install. The Geek Squad team didn't have the correct hardware to make a connection so they asked me to do it. I said sure. They gave me measurements for the adaptor i needed and left. Long story short the measurements were incorrect and it cost me a couple of trips to the hardware store and the cost of the equipment. The equipment should've been available upon install. I let it go as it's not a perfect world. A week later i purchase a samsung dryer. I receive a txt giving me an estimated time of arrival. I took a half day off work to be there for install. The tech arrived two hours after the time provided. While bringing the dryer into my house the techs ripped the flooring threshold from the floor. No biggy, i'll fix it. Next the tech informs me that he doesn't have the correct three pronged cord. I'm told I'll have to reschedule for the remainder of the install. Okay so I set up another appointment and on the day of install I receive a txt informing me the tech for install will arrive at my home in 15 minutes. I leave work and while on my way home I receive a call from the install tech asking me if I have the cord? I was never asked to provide a cord, nor should I as I purchased one with the dryer. I call the store back and am informed that the cord they had for my install was given to another customer. So today I'm expecting to take time off work, whatever time they txt me saying they're on their way, and HOPE they can complete the install. I've never experienced anything like this. Read moreI WILL NEVER SHOP AT BEST BUY AGAIN!!! I bought a 60" LG display TV Sunday with "no parts missing." I check everything once I'm in the parking lot to find no remote and go back in to get one. Once I get home I soon realize I have been given the wrong TV stand; Best Buy employees didn't bother to check any part numbers. I call and get forwarded multiple times while being placed on hold for nearly an hour (they were scrambling the warehouse trying to find a stand that isn't there and call the employee who sold the TV instead of speaking with me the customer). I finally catch a "manager" who sends an order in for the TV stand to my home (which apparently can't be sent overnight but will arrive in 1 - 3 days). Up until now I've been patient. Tuesday it comes in and guess what, only half the stand is here. Again, Best Buy employees fail to look up part numbers to realize there are two components needed. I call and was again forwarded to be placed on hold. I had to look it up myself (took less than 2 minutes) to find an online manual to tell them which part needed to be ordered. I was told it would arrive in the same timeframe. It is now Friday and not here (3rd day after 2nd order). I call the part supplier to find out the order wasn’t put in as fast track and won’t be here until next week, after Super Bowl!!! We call again to talk to the manager, the receptionist says he’s busy and will call us back (that was over 2 hours ago)! This 60” TV will be on my kitchen table for over a week while my family and I eat every meal holding our plates all because Best Buy employees lack the ability to look up part numbers while the managers are too busy to talk to customers and send missing parts quickly!!!
