I was there for over an hour and the table next to mine needed busing, it stayed that way until about 5 minutes before I left, by that point 6 more tables sat needing to be bused. I had over easy eggs, waffles, hash browns, & bacon. The other guest at my table had the same except she had toast instead of waffles. The hash browns were undercooked as was the bacon, the bacon being unbrowned and barely cooked enough to be healthy to eat, as a matter of fact, I'm not certain that it was; it was rubbery and the fat wasn't rendered at all. The egg yolks were runny as they should be for over easy eggs and the whites were completely set. Typically I would have said the eggs were pefection except for the fact that the whites were browned and crispy, resulting in whites which were too tough to cut with my fork and barely able to be cut with the aide of the knife I had. The server I had gave me the distinct impression she would rather have been elsewhere; not all of the servers appeared to feel the same as I observed one in particular who was very attentive to the guests at his stations, too bad he wasn't my server. When we went to pay the check, my server rounded the corner with her hand out and remained that way not saying a single word as she waited for me to place the funds into her hand after which she still said nothing. Read moreI'm only giving it one star because I have to in order to write a review. I just left there, and I can honestly say I have never left a restuarant so mad. When we sat down, not only was the booth broken, there was a dead fly on the table that had just been "wiped" down. I always order off the kid menu at IHOP, and I have never had a problem. At this one I was told that they were not supposed to do that, but because the waitress was the "manager" she could ring it in for me. (I put manager in quotes because she was not very good at her job, and we don't think she was really a manager.) Then she asked if I wanted fries or fruit, I told her fries. She then said, "I can substitute that. Wait no I don't think I can. I can give you fruit." Then our food took over 30 minutes to come out. While we were waiting all our server/manager, Nicole, just came by and said sorry they are slow in the kitchen here. When it did finally come out it was cold and overcooked! When we got the receipt my meal was rung up wrong. It has never been the price that was on the ticket. Our meal was not worth what we paid for it. As we were leaving, an employee stood on a chair that they expect people to sit in right in front of costumers! Read moreHad one extremely horrible experience from a waitress I am assuming was Melissa per my receipt...she gave one bad experience after another and then continued on yelling at her Co workers..then a lady who said she was a manager asked of we were ok and I told her "Actually no" and the waitress we had should be immediately fired for not only horrible service to me and my family but also yelling at her co workers and she said "well I'm trying to give her a chance"...ummmm NO... she had her chance and should be fired... should be noted a customer before me had made a major complaint and there was also another couple who got up and left due to lack of service while I was there..she actually had the gall to say she was overwhelmed when the entire restaurant was empty.. I would sure hate to see her during a rush.. I'm pretty sure I won't be back to IHOP no matter how much my family wants to go...and I should add the air conditioning system in this place SUCKS for LA heat and humidity.. very miserable to Dine here..Update 7/27/23..Conditions here are horrendous.. no customers should have been a clue.. miserable conditions..No air..Horrible Service...Horrible food..What the heck are they doing here???
