I placed an order for Cowboy Pork Chops, Parmesan Crusted Chicken, Kids meal Chicken Tenders, Kids meal Cheeseburger Fire-Grilled T-Bone, and Ribeye Steak at 2:58 PM on Sunday, 6/21/2020. I placed the order with Amy and she told me my total was $103.06 and it will be ready for 4:45 pm. I entered Longhorn for 5:00pm. The line was long with 6 people ahead of me. I was in line for an hour an a half before I was close enough to the register to ask "is the order for Joetta ready'". The cashier wrote my name down and that was it. Another 45 minutes passed. I asked is my order ready for Joetta and they could not find it in the system. I was asked which is understandable did I place my order at that location. I did. The manager said the system did go offline, but was my order the only one lost??? She did rush my order through and took $25 off. So I was there for 2 and a half hours waiting on food I ordered at 2:58. This was a prime example of not having systems in place. I understand people call in, no shows, but when systems are in place. The process should not take that long. If it wasnt Father's Day, I would have left. Then, towards the end of my visit, I looked over towards the kitchen and saw a young lady with a chicken wing in her hair hand, no mask on no gloves standing over orders. Are we not following the CDC guidelines. I have never experienced such chaos in a restaurant. I advice anyone who is going to place an order here to please call to see if it is ready before you waiste hours in line for a ghost order. I gave a 1 star because the food was good. Read moreWell where do I start. My workplace wanted a holiday outing and decided on this location. Called the restuarant thirty minutes early to fax the order and reserve our table. I can understand we had a party of twenty however, you could have taken our orders ahead of time for when we arrived food would trickle in. But the manager insisted we all show up for "food safety" before they take our orders. I arrive about 3 minutes after our reservation time which our table was set, yet the manager insisted we all needed to be there for our order to be filled.
We trickled in. I was the first to arrive, and others followed. There was no bread on our tables until an hour later along with our drink orders. As some of us were grumpy, the manager pulled me aside, which was VERY unprofessional, and berated me for not coming in on time, food safety, and told me to relate a message to a coworker to stop complaining. This upset my colleague to the point she left and cancelled her order. It was an 1.5 hours later when we finally got our food which orders were messed up and meat wasn't cooked throughly. If I wasn't feeling bad and ill, the manager wouldn't have done that to me. Then as we left, she was bellowing and cussing our patient waiter who was awesome. I felt bad for him.
Very unprofessional and unreasonable to handle a large group. Trickle in the smaller less food concerns like chicken tenders and salads, then ask for the steak cooking temps to be sure. Read moreI had a party of 7 we had to wait for staff to show up to work before we could be seated. No biggie it was my birthday so we were willing to wait. But it was all down hill from there. I ordered Strawberry lemonade, we were told “we are out” after waiting 10 mins so I ordered tea. We asked for bread and was told there were no clean dishes but as soon as they get some washed they would bring us some out. We get bread an hour later. We ordered our food right after we got there and then had to change a couple of our entrees cause again “we are out and the truck comes tomorrow. One of the people with me ended up having to leave and asked for y’all to just put his steak salad to go. Y’all bring out a side salad and not his steak salad. Another person in my group waited over an hour to get her water and another girl had to ask 4 times when she was gonna get her beer then was told it needed changed out so she asked for something else. We finally get the rest of our food 2 hours later and 3 people didn’t received all their food and still had to wait for it to be corrected. And one never got her jasmine rice cause again “we are out till truck comes tomorrow’ Now our waitress “Amber” was very sweet and did the best she could with the LACK of product at this establishment. Now time for our ticket after being told we would get a discount for all the mistakes. I am given another tables ticket so had to get that corrected.
