Rent-A-Center — Local services in Monroe

I have been a customer of the 505 Telegraph Rd. store in Monroe for a few years. I don't care what the issue has been, I always call Karin the manager and she takes care of me like I'm family. My brother passed away and we were short on funeral funds, so I called Karin and explained the situation that I needed to wait and pay my bill the following week instead and she took care of me and worked all the details out. I needed new tires immediately Karin took care of me that next day. I needed something they didn't have in stock for one of my kids 3 days before Christmas, Karin took care of it! Now here it is July 3rd the day before the 4th of July a pretty busy day for Rent-a-Center. My elderly mother lives with me and is on oxygen. Those machines put off so much heat not to mention the normal heat index outside causes her to struggle even more to breath. We only have a window air conditioning unit and it breaks during the night on Sunday the 1 day Rent- a- Center is closed. I immediately text rent a center that I need 2 window units delivered first thing in the morning and if they can't deliver them my husband will come and pick them up. I was immediately contacted this morning by Karin as soon as the store opened and told she was working on my order right then. That's what I mean, the manager Karin and her employees always go above and beyond for their customers. I don't care what anyone else says we are not just sales to these associates, they truly do care for their clients and...

I give a two star. Only because my account keeps getting messed up. I ask that I can pay everything at once on the same day. Then get told my account all caught up. Couple days later get told I I gotta pay again. The staff need to learn their job do their job better. And not lie to their customers. And some staff has a attitude problem. The manager she’s very nice and is great. But the others not so much. They lie mess up my account and I am the one that suffers, etc. Love the stuff I have, I always have loved rent a center. But this needs to be corrected because this can cost them to lose customers. The staff should not lie and then make customers pay for their wrong not right. And the staff needs to stop messing...

Do not ever go to this place ever ever ever please I warn you and I'm being for real the people there are very unprofessional they don't stand by anything they say they haven't the whole time I've been dealing with this place and I've been dealing with Rent-A-Center a long time I've rented a lot off of them my washer gets broke and they tell me it's going to take a week or more to get fixed and still be charged no thank you didn't even offer for a replacement I called Aaron's Aaron said the first thing they will do is bring out a replacement the next day so everybody go to Aaron's the people there are a lot more nicer and...
