Bella Rosa Pizzeria Restaurant — Restaurant in Monroe

I had my sons Confirmation lunch at Bellarosa. A group of 30 people. I don't even know where to start with this review. We knew we wanted an "outdoor" event (due to the pandemic) but being at the end of April I was concerned about the weather. Dave the owner was very reassuring that we would figure it out with the tent they had outside. Needless to say it poured all night and the weather was less than favorable during my 11-2pm event. Despite the weather we had a wonderful time, they made it all work. Now lets talk service. Leading up to the event, Dave was extremely responsive to all my questions, was so easy to deal with and every time I had an idea or request I was told not a problem, whatever I wanted. To top it off, Dave, the owner called me the night before my event to make sure I didn't have any questions/concerns and that we were all set. (that was a 1st for me) I arrived 1/2 hour before my event was schedule and had last minute changes to seating and also had center pieces to put on the tables. The 2 waitress were VERY helpful and again, with a "no problem" or "our pleasure" always as a response to any apology I may have had for being picky.

Now lets talk about FOOD! We had decided on stuffed breads on the table for my guest as they arrived. There were at lease 4 varieties of the most amazing stuffed breads. OMG you have to order the buffalo chicken one, AMAZING.

Once all my guest arrived, salad and home made bread was brought to the table to start. I was asked each time if we were ready for the next course. Very relaxed and never felt rushed to hurry up and eat. The main MEAL: WOW - Ziti with Vodka sauce was very good but what it accompanied was AMAZING! The chicken piccata was the best one I HAVE EVER HAD! Seriously.

We also served what is called "Portuguese Carne Alentejana (Pork, potatoes and clams). I can honestly say I have been eating Carne Alentejana my entire life, in some of the finest Portuguese restaurants, I have also eaten it in Portugal. This was truly on my top 3 of the best ones I have ever had. It was super fresh, the pork was tender and the clams weren't rubbery, even the potatoes were cooked perfectly.

Many of my guest made it a point to tell me not only how much they enjoyed the food but how they will definitely be back for a meal in the near future.

This truly was one of the best experiences I have had . I have my others sons High School graduation in a couple of months and I will be catering all the food from Bellarosa...

I am fairly disappointed with this restaurant. Recently I ordered a specialty pizza that I've previously had, come to find out the recipe is different and they added a ingredient you would not expect. It tasted poorly so I called to complain, they basically said it always came this way (untrue) and they don't do a refund or remake the item I ordered how I wanted. I wouldn't complain if it was listed anywhere, but the online menu doesn't list the ingredient at all. For some reason I opted to buy another made how I wanted and it still sucked. I think i'll pas next time considering there are about 5 other places to get pizza within 10 miles. I also ordered and was given 20-30 minute wait time, when I got there I had to wait another 10 minutes because my food clearly wasn't even started. Maybe I'll give this place another shot but don't trust them with anything other than...

Holy cow!!! Just got the carb free pizza and it is seriously epic. Finally, a gluten free pizza that I can eat that’s delicious!!! Also, the chicken parm and salads we ordered were phenomenal. Everyone was happy!! And the delivery driver was super friendly!! What a nice guy! We wanted to invite him to stay and hang! Bella Rosa is top notch food for sure. I won’t even bother to go elsewhere now.

UPDATE: August 2024 This place is still amazing! The menu is HUGE and full of awesome variety. Now they have another gluten free option for pizza... cauliflower crust. It is PERFECTION! I got their hot oil pizza on the cauliflower crust and was in heaven. The servers are super friendly and the I haven't had a bad meal yet. I now go here (party of 4 of us) weekly and we are never...
