Owned by the delightful, friendly, and endlessly creative Kristin Miller, the shop is located in the wonderful little town of Monrovia, CA on a main street that still has a Friday night fair and town events most weekends. The name "Charlie" comes from Kristin's nickname that her dad gave her when she was small. You can find her mom, Mary-Margaret, helping out some weekends. So yes, Charlie's House is not only a great way to support a small business but a way to support a wonderful Monrovia institution still run as a family business. I go to Charlie's house whenever I need a unique, well made, and creative gift.
